Miranda Lambert and her boyfriend, Anderson East, made their relationship official on Sunday, April 3 at the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards, which aired on CBS. Miranda Lambert dating reports have been floating around since late 2015, after her divorce from fellow country music singer Blake Shelton was official – now we can confirm she is dating the much younger singer.
Anderson East’s first record was released in 2015. The rhythm and blues musician originated in Alabama, but is currently stationed in Nashville, Tennessee. News of Anderson and Miranda’s relationship first went public via People Magazine in December 2015. No one was too surprised that Miranda had move on from her ex-husband Blake Shelton – but her new beau’s age definitely raised a few eyebrows. 27-year-old Anderson East is 5 years younger than Lambert.
No wonder Miranda Lambert has been unfazed by Blake and his new girlfriend Gwen Stefani’s PDA sessions on ‘The Voice’ and jabs at her in their music. Miranda traded in Blake for a much younger and hotter version. However, could Anderson East’s age pose a problem for the couple? Not only is the singer younger and less seasoned than Miranda – but he just arrived on the country music scene.
Miranda Lambert’s diehard fans have expressed concerns on social media that Easy may just be using Miranda to make a name for himself in the music business. It’s not too far fetched when you consider she is one of the hottest women in country music right now – and has award-winning albums to back her up.
