Prince Harry says that Princess Diana would be pleased to become a grandmother again with his children and would love Kate Middleton and Prince William’s family. Prince Harry became teary-eyed and appeared almost desperate to marry when asked about a family of his own during a recent interview.
Harry revealed that he believes Princess Diana would love to be a grandmother again and that his late mother would be pleased with the family Prince William and Kate Middleton have created.
Sitting in what used to be the sitting room of Diana’s Kensington Palace apartment Prince Harry opened up to Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts. Harry shared that just being known as Captain Wales and treated just like everyone else would have made him quite happy.

But that will obviously never happen. Instead, Prince Harry explained, he has used his Royal status to carry on Princess Diana’s legacy. “I think there was that acceptance, the power that the name has,” Harry explained. The discussion turned to what Diana would think of the family that Prince William and Kate Middleton have built and Harry’s role in their lives. “I hope she’s looking down with tears in her eyes being incredibly proud of what we’ve done here, I suppose.” The fifth-in-line to the throne wasn’t going to escape talk being married and having a family. “I’m sure she’s longing for me to have kids so she can be a grandmother again,” Harry revealed.

Robin noted that Harry has a soft spot for children and asked if about Harry’s plans to marry and have children in the near future.
“I can’t wait for the day. It would be fantastic.” Harry replied with a bit of desperation in his voice. For now he’s happy to be fun Uncle Harry to Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
But for how much long will being fun Uncle Harry be enough for the ginger-haired prince? If Diana were alive how much would she have influenced Prince Harry’s choice for a Royal bride? Would Harry already be married with a few little Royal children of his own running around?
Kate Middleton wants Prince Harry settle down and start a family and has put pressure on the prince to propose to on-again-off-again girlfriend Chelsy Davy. Prince Harry may have talked a good game in the interview, but we think he’s going to hold onto bachelorhood for as long as he possibly can.
