Princess Eugenie New Kate Middleton BFF: Abandons Princess Beatrice Moves Into 3 Bedroom Kensington Palace Cottage

Is Kate Middleton’s former royal rival Princess Eugenie her new BFF? Princess Eugenie is reportedly moving into the 3-bedroom Ivy Cottage on the Kensington Palace grounds. This leaves Princess Beatrice alone in the St. James’s Palace apartment the sisters share. Is Kate Middleton not only getting a new neighbor but a new BFF?

What a terrible time for Eugenie to abandon Beatrice. The 28-year-old princess and boyfriend Dave Clark are ‘on a break’ from their 10 relationship reportedly because Beatrice wanted to get married and Dave just wasn’t ready. Beatrice sure could use a shoulder to cry on and who better than your sister?

Kate Middleton and Princess Beatrice’s relationship has been non-existent over the years but maybe the two are finally building a friendship. It is believed Kate and William will spend more time at Kensington Palace when Prince George starts school. That will give Kate and Beatrice plenty of time to sit down, share a cuppa and get to know each other.

What precipitated Eugenie’s expected move to Ivy Cottage? Is Beatrice jealous because Eugenie graced the cover of the September issue of Harpers’ Bazaar? That’s something Kate and Eugenie now have in common – both have been Royal cover girls for fashion magazines.

There is also buzz that Eugenie and longtime boyfriend Jack Brooksbank’s engagement announcement is imminent. A representative for Sarah Ferguson recently denied that Beatrice and Jack have any wedding plans in the works. Of course Sarah’s going to say that! Everything must be kept a secret by the Royal Family!

If moving into a three-bedroom cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace isn’t a sign that the couple plans to marry we don’t know what is. Perhaps Princess Beatrice grew weary and teary over Princess Eugenie and Sarah Ferguson constantly discussing all things bridal and asked her sister to leave.

Whatever the reason, Eugenie won’t be living at St. James’s Palace much longer. A source told People that there are still a few details to be worked out but Princess Eugenie is definitely joining Kate, William and Harry at Kensington Palace.

How much rent Eugenie will pay for Ivy Cottage? Buckingham Palace never discusses who pays rent or how much rent is paid by Kensington Palace residents, but it is assumed Eugenie won’t pay anything at all for the spacious cottage.

So, it’s bye-bye Princess Beatrice and hello to new neighbor Kate Middleton. If there isn’t already a rift between the Royal sisters then Princess Eugenie developing a close friendship with the Duchess of Cambridge will certainly do so, don’t you think?
