Tonight’s episode of Quantico kicks off with Simon having a secret meaning with Ryan. Alex sent him – Simon tells Ryan that Alex is convinced Elias isn’t responsible for the attacks, he wants Ryan to track down a CIA asset, they don’t have a name only a number – 2281. When Ryan isn’t paying attention, Simon slips a tracker in to his pocket. He calls Alex afterwards and tells her that the tracking device is in place.

Training will be over in 4 weeks, the students are giving forms to select the top field offices and what city they want to be based in. Meanwhile, Shelby is still reeling from learning that her parents are alive. Liam meets with the twins and tells them that Miranda is on leave – so the FBI is probably going to drop the trial twin test. Everyone in school is gossiping about Alex and Drew – and the sparks flying between them. Nimah and Raina are determined to try and prove to the FBI that they should keep both twins.

In class – Liam is teaching a lecture on human trafficking. He is sending the class to the Canadian border to meet with immigration. Liam introduces Ryan, they are bringing him on as a teacher since Miranda is on leave. Alex is shocked to see him back at Quantico. Behind closed doors, Ryan tells Liam that Alex is after a CIA asset – they need to figure out who the asset is. Alex calls Simon and tells him that the plan is in place, and soon Ryan will lead them to the CIA asset. This is the final mission that the terrorist has given them. Alex and Simon plan to question the CIA asset before they turn him/her over to the terrorist so they can figure out what the plan is.

Caleb is scheming – he wants Shelby to set up a meeting with her parents when they are in Canada. Her parents obviously can’t return to the US, but they can meet them while they are in Canada for training. Shelby changes the subject, she just wants to focus on class.

Ryan takes Alex aside to clear the air – they have an awkward conversation about not crossing any boundaries and how inappropriate it is for trainee’s and teachers to get involved with each other.

Caleb and Shelby are in her dorm room arguing – she insists that she doesn’t want to meet her parents. Shelby argues that there is no way that her parents love her. Caleb and Alex try to convince Shelby to take this opportunity to meet with her parents, she deserves to have her questions answered about why they faked their deaths.

Liam takes the training class to Canada. When they arrive at the border – Liam takes all of their passports. He has a mission for the students. They have until 9:00 AM to get back across the border without their passports. They are divided in to teams – Alex is upset that Drew wasn’t assigned as her partner. She convinces Drew to work with her anyway.

Alex and Simon meet with the CIA asset that the terrorist sent them to find. They get the address off from Ryan’s tracker. Alex is shocked when they walk in to the safe house and learn that the CIA asset they are suppose to bring in to the terrorist is Will Olsen – a former student from Quantico. Will says that the CIA has been holding him for 7 months. Alex tells Will that they are going to break him out – he’s skeptical they will be able to get past the CIA guards.

Flashback – Alex and Drew are at the airport, Alex tries to get through security by saying that she is an FBI agent and Drew is her prisoner. The guard isn’t buying it, another team already tried the same trick – they get kicked out of the airport.

Nimah and Raina are using their twin advantage at the airport. They may have taken Raina’s passport – but not Nimah’s because she was sitting out this mission. The sisters plan on using only one passport between the two of them to get through customs. And, if they are successful this will be the perfect way to prove to Liam that he shouldn’t scrap the twin trial.

Caleb takes Shelby to a hotel where he arranged for her parents to meet them. Shelby is shocked when she comes face to face with her not so dead parents. Shelby’s mother explains that on 9-11 they were sitting at the airport and preparing to take off. It turns out that their family’s weapon company accidentally supplied Taliban with the weapons that they used to bomb the towers. Shelby’s parents faked their deaths and made it look like they were on one of the 9-11 flights. They knew that the government would hold them responsible, and they didn’t want to go to prison – or have their mistakes effect Shelby. Shelby is moved by their story, and accepts their apologies for abandoning her.

Flashback – Simon and Alex help Will Olsen escape. Alex and Will make a run for it in a van – the CIA agents are hot on their trail and chasing them through traffic. Simon and Alex were thinking ahead though, they created a power outage in the area so that there are a ton of white vans driving around. The CIA chases down the wrong white van, and Alex and Will make a clean escape.

The Quantico teams are having a tough time getting through customs. Nimah and Raina are the only ones through so far – Alex and Drew are wandering through the woods and trying to cross the border on foot. Meanwhile at the hotel, Caleb is suspicious about Shelby’s parents – even though she is thrilled to see them. He plants his phone in Shelby’s Dad’s pocket so he can listen in on their conversation. And, it’s just what he suspected, Shelby’s parents are using her. They only reason they met up with Shelby is so that they can convince her to sign over more money to them, they are running low on funds.

Caleb confronts Shelby’s parents about meeting up with Shelby just to get more money out of her. Her dad scoffs that everyone wins, they get money and Shelby gets to see her long lost parents. Caleb offers to transfer them $5 Million dollars – if they leave now and don’t see Shelby again. Caleb meets Shelby for dinner, he tells her that their parents had to leave unexpectedly because there was a “security scare.” Shelby isn’t even suspicious, she’s happy that her parents are safe.

Meanwhile, Drew and Alex are stuck sleeping in an abandoned cabin in the middle of the woods – they still haven’t made it across the border. They make a fire and bicker – Drew confesses that he was upset when Ryan showed up, Alex is all that he can think about it, and he doesn’t want her to distract him at Quantico.

Alex and Simon try to convince Will to make a run for it – he has vital information that the “Voice” could use to hurt a lot of people. Will refuses, he says that he wants them to hand him over to the terrorist. He says that he will be their Trojan Horse, and work on the inside to see what the Voice’s target is.

The students head to class – Liam announces that 18 of them made it across the border, and the winners of the contest are Raina and Nimah. After class, Liam tells the twins that the FBI has decided to keep the twins in action – and they need to keep matching perfectly and living together so it seems like there is only one of them.

Tonight’s episode ends with Alex and Simon handing Will over to the Voice in a dark parking lot. Will climbs in to the vehicle that comes to pick him up – then Alex’s phone rings. The Voice tells Simon to get in the car with Will, Alex throws a fit and says it is not happening. Simon tells her everything is going to be fine and he climbs in the car behind Will. Alex is instructed to hand her phone to the person driving the car, the window rolls down and Alex hands her phone over to the Voice’s driver …. SHELBY.

THE END!
