Tonight’s episode of Quantico kicks off with the FBI raiding Alex’s apartment – Ryan has a warrant for her arrest. They kick in the door, but all they find is Caleb sitting there eating cereal. He laughs and tells Ryan Alex hasn’t been there since yesterday. Meanwhile, Alex is out on the streets. She is heading to a hospital to try and find Simon – she and Shelby think that he may have showed up at an emergency room with radiation burns like Will had.

Flashback to Quantico – Ryan corners Alex in the hallway and gives her a book that he thinks she may be interested in. She flirts with him and tells him he doesn’t have to come up with an excuse to talk to her. In class later, Alex is sparring with Ryan and their chemistry is palpable, everyone picks up on it too. Meanwhile, the twins Nimah and Rayna talk to their handler. They are sick of getting assigned to infiltrate cells that aren’t even a threat – they want to go after the people that attacked Quantico.

In class, Liam announces that they are going to visit real field offices and shadow real employees before graduation. Caleb is back at school, Chang corners him and threatens him – she knows that he is still in the cult and she is taking him down, she doesn’t care who his family is.

Amina and Rayna have a slightly different assignment, they are going in to another cell. Their job is to figure out who else in the cell is an FBI contact and meet with them. If they fail, then the FBI is dropping the twins, or they could wind up killed.

Present time – Shelby and Alex show up at the hospital to see if the John Doe with radiation burns is Simon. They are shocked when they realize that it is actually Drew. When he sees Shelby and Alex, he asks if they have “caught him” yet. They ask who “him” is … Drew says it is Ryan.

Drew explains that he was working in NY and he got a call from “The Voice,” he told Drew to rent a van and park it somewhere in the Bronx. If Drew didn’t do what The Voice told him to do – his family would get hurt. Drew is the one that rented the van that drove Alex to Grand Central Station at the first attack. Drew says that two nights ago, he dropped off a nuclear cell at the church and he saw Ryan there, he had Will handcapped. Alex doesn’t believe it could be Ryan – Drew begs her to look in to it, he promises that if she does some research she will learn that Ryan isn’t the guy that she thinks he is.

Flashback to Quantico – Alex and the rest of the students arrive at the field office, they are assigned to different agents. Shelby and Caleb get stuck in a file room together filing papers. Alex winds up checking up on a lead with one of Ryan’s old co-workers. In the car, they talk about Ryan, he warns Alex to be careful around Ryan. He thinks that Ryan turned his back on a terrorist cell on purpose and got him shot.

Present time – Shelby and Alex leave the hospital. Shelby argues with Alex, Alex insists that Ryan can’t be the guy – he took a bullet for her before. Shelby reminds her that he also shot himself before to seem innocent. Shelby convinces Alex to let her use her software at the FBI to snoop in Ryan’s phone and computer.

Caleb is being interrogated by Miranda and Ryan – but there is a distraction in the offices and all of the computers go up in smoke. Shelby hacked in to the computers and overheated all of them. While the building is filling with smoke from the computers and everyone is scrambling – Alex sneaks in to snoop around Ryan’s office.

Flashback to Quantico – Ryan is furious when he learns what Jordan told Alex about Chicago and he confronts him. Ryan shouts that he was investigated on that and he paid for his mistake. Jordan taunts that “maybe Afghanistan broke him” and he switched sides and decided to play for the terrorists. Ryan slams him against the wall and says that he loves the country.

Meanwhile, Alex is overstepping her boundaries once again and has decided to have Brandon stake out the house that she and Jordan went to earlier. Alex learns from Jordan that the guy is working with the post office and mailing child pornography, and they are waiting for him to move a package before they arrest him. Alex confesses that she just sent Brandon to his house – and he could blow the whole operation.

Present time – Alex is trying to install the flashdrive that Drew gave her to spy on Ryan’s computer, but Ryan catches her. He pulls a gun on her and demands to know if she killed Natalie. Ryan and Alex wind up fighting – and nearly kill each other. Alex starts begging Ryan to stop choking her, she tries to tell him about “The Voice” and the nuclear bomb that was just made. Alex manages to fight Ryan off her, she tells him she is sorry, and then she kicks him in the head and knocks him out and makes a run for it.

Flashback to Quantico – Brandon is still sitting outside the target’s house and smoke starts pouring out of the window. He heads inside and Walker has burnt all of the pornographic evidence that he had – then he knocks Brandon out with a vase. Meanwhile, alex, Jordan, and the rest of the FBI are racing to the address, but they are too late.

They arrive at the house, and Walker is holding Brandon hostage. He tries to attack Ryan and Alex with a knife. They manage to take him down and get Brandon out in one piece. Walker is arrested. And, in the middle of the scuffle, Ryan manages to save Jordan’s life. Afterwards, Ryan and Alex have a heart to heart. He tells her about what happened in Chicago. Apparently it was Liam’s fault, and Ryan took the blame for him.

Back at the field office, Nimah and Raya are in trouble. They botch their mission and give up their cover. Rayna convinces the guy she blabbed her cover to go out for drinks with her before he turns her in.

Chang has been working all day to convince Shelby to choose a good field office. She is shocked when Shelby tells her that she is dropping out of Quantico. Shelby says that she only wanted to be an FBI agent because she thought that her parents were killed in 9/11. No that they are alive, she doesn’t feel the need to be an agent any more. Chang spills the beans and tells her that her parents are con artists – and they only came out of hiding because they wanted money. Caleb is the one that has been writing the letters that Shelby thought were from her parents. They really don’t care about her.

Present time – Miranda finds Ryan chained to his desk and puts the building on lockdown. Alex is panicking – she gets a phone call from Drew. He reveals that the flashdrive he gave her just framed Ryan as the terrorist. Drew taunts Alex and says that her story doesn’t end here – there is a car waiting for her downstairs.

Flashback to Quantico – Shelby storms in to Caleb’s dorm room with the fake letters that he wrote. She is furious, she shouts that a real man shows up and tells the truth. She can’t believe that he didn’t believe in her enough to tell her the truth … he’s not a real man, and she doesn’t want to be with him. Shelby leaves and calls Caleb’s dad, she tells him that her parents are alive, and she needs his help bringing them in.

Present time – Alex texts Shelby at the hospital, she tells him that The Voice isn’t Ryan…it has been Drew all along. Meanwhile, Drew tells Alex to get in Ryan’s truck in the parking garage. The bomb is inside – and beeping. He tells Alex to get in and drive or else he is going to kill Simon. Alex peels out of the parking lot with the bomb.

THE END!
