Is there another feud broiling between Queen Elizabeth and Kate Middleton over Carole Middleton? That’s what royal observers can’t help but wonder as there’s speculation that Kate Middleton refused to visit Queen Elizabeth’s Scottish estate without her mother, Carole Middleton, who is known to always be by her daughter’s side during troubling times.
There’s no doubt that Queen Elizabeth isn’t a fan of Carole Middleton or the Middleton family for that matter. Ever since Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011, the Middleton family has been a permanent fixture in the gossip headlines.
In fact, Carole Middleton along with her children Pippa Middleton and James Middleton have tried to hang on to Kate Middleton’s royal coattails while struggling to make a name for themselves in the celebrity world. Carole Middleton is no different as she’s always had a reputation of being a clingy London social climber, demanding celebrity treatment and paparazzi attention everywhere she goes.
That’s why there’s a strong chance that Queen Elizabeth was infuriated when she invited Prince William and Kate Middleton to her Balmoral Estate, only to find out that Carole Middleton would be coming along, too. According to People Magazine, both Carole Middleton and her husband Michael Middleton stayed with the Queen at Balmoral castle and even joined the royal family for Sunday service at nearby Craithe church.
Considering how strained Queen Elizabeth and Kate Middleton’s relationship is, it’s a good chance that her parents had no choice but to go to Balmoral Estate to appease the Queen. Given how Kate Middleton has done very little this year and has even canceled her royal engagements to sit home with her family. Queen Elizabeth has had enough of Kate Middleton’s laziness and that’s why she’s demanding that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge make more public appearances and attend their royal engagements just like the rest of the members of the British monarchy.
Yet, tone-deaf Kate Middleton doesn’t understand that as the future Queen of England, she needs to put in the work that comes with her title. Otherwise, the future of the British monarchy is in grave danger, mostly because of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s work-allergic attitude.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that the Middleton family’s presence at Balmoral Estate is a signal that Queen Elizabeth has finally given them her stamp of approval. Instead, it only further indicates that Kate Middleton’s relationship with the rest of the royal family has gotten so bad that her parents need to intervene before possible Kate Middleton and Prince William divorce rumors make headlines.
There is only so much that Queen Elizabeth is willing to put up with before she intervenes in Prince William and Kate Middleton’s marriage. Do you agree, CDL readers? Come back to CDL for all you Royals news and views!
