‘Supernatural’ spoilers for Season 11 Episode 22 ‘We Happy Few’ airing Wednesday May 18 show that Crowley’s awful mom Rowena is back, Sam and Dean face a major obstacle, and Amara continues her dark campaign to destroy everything. Here’s what to expect.
Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) asks Chuck, aka God, (Rob Benedict) what they need to defeat his sister Amara (Emily Swallow). Turns out it’s nothing much – just get the remaining angels that survived the failed smiting of Amara to work with all the demons. Hmm…
Looks like King of Hell Crowley (Mark Sheppard) is up for the challenge and asks Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), “what’s the plan?” But can Crowley work alongside Lucifer, still in his Castiel suit, (Misha Collins) after what the fallen archangel did to him?
The teaser trailer promises that this kicks off God vs Darkness and it will be a fight of “biblical proportions” quite literally. Now that Lucifer has been beaten down by Amara, Crowley has resumed his reign in hell but now needs to get off his throne and do battle.
Chuck tells everyone they need to bring the shock and awe. Will the angels work with Lucifer? And can Crowley get the demons to cooperate? Also, Rowena (Ruth Connell) makes a move. She didn’t seem too down with Amara, but will she align with the forces God is assembling to fight his sister?
Sam says “it’s not going to be easy” and that’s a massive understatement. Chuck gives the team of misfit toys a rousing pep talk, but will it be enough to prevail in what The CW has called “a biblical battle royale”?
Will Dean give in to his Amara temptation? Can Rowena help the team or will she cripple them when they most need their strength? Can Rowena and Crowley avoid the family drama and focus on the real enemy that threatens them all?
The good news is, Supernatural has been renewed for Season 12 with Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki already confirmed to return, so at least they will survive… Will the team defeat the Darkness and put her back in her box? Will God sacrifice himself to stop his sister?
