Tonight on MTV their series Teen Mom 2 continues with an all new Monday April 11, season 7 episode 4 called “Iced Out” and we have your weekly recap below. On tonight’s episode, Kailyn Lowry and Javi receive bad news; Leah Messer blames Corey for confusing the girls; Barb is worried about Jenelle’s new boyfriend.
On the last episode, Leah learns the outcome of her custody case; Kailyn and Jo’s renewed friendship was threatened by a huge fight; Jenelle introduced her new boyfriend to Barb; and Chelsea was upset by Adam’s online behavior. On tonight’s episode as per the MTV synopsis, “Kailyn and Javi receive bad news; Leah blames Corey for confusing the girls; Barb is worried about Jenelle’s new boyfriend; Chelsea and Cole take a major step.”

This week on Teen Mom 2 Chelsea and Cole are planning a trip without Aubree. Cole asks “Aubree are you going to miss us when we’re gone?” Aubree says “Yes.” Chelsea reminds her that she will be staying with her grandmother.
Janelle is upset that her mom won’t let her see Jace, but she is happy with her relationship with David. She is talking to him about the situation with her schooling and she tells him “They say it will be hard, but I am looking forward to it. I also plan to have Jace back by the time I finish.” Janelle then asks David if he wants to move in with her. He says “You just want me here to wash dishes every day.” Janelle laughs and tells him “I don’t want you to feel forced.” David looks happy as he agrees.
Leah is struggling to deal with the changes in the custody agreement. Leah talks to her friend about the custody arrangement. She tells her ” Gracie had tumbling class on Tuesday and she was screaming that she wanted to go home with me. Corey just slammed the door and drove off. Then when I dropped them off Miranda just slammed the door in my face and locked it. The girls text me and tell me that they ask Daddy why they can’t spend more time at my house and he tells them it’s not his fault, but it is his fault.”
Javi is being deployed overseas in two weeks and Kailyn has Isaac’s sixth birthday party before he leaves. One of her friends asks her “What will be the hardest part about Javi not being here?” Kailyn tells her “It will probably be the little things like if I am giving Lincoln a bath and Isaac needs a drink.”
Janelle and David are living together now and she is preparing to face the charges for assaulting Nathan’s girlfriend. She tells David that “Because of this pending charge I can’t sign up for the surgical tech program. If they convict me I wouldn’t be able to sign up for six years. They also talk about Nathan and the custody situation. David tells her “You have nothing to worry about. He doesn’t even have a bedroom for Kaiser. There is no reason for them to take Kaiser from you.”
Chelsea and Cole are now engaged. When they get home she goes to pick Aubree up from her mom’s and shows her the engagement ring. Her mom is so excited for them and she asks her “Do you guys want a big wedding?” Chelsea says “No we want something simple in the woods maybe. I don’t know yet. Right now we are just enjoying being engaged.”
Leah has the girls for the weekend and Miranda and Corey go into labor and have the baby girl. Leah says “It’s really hard to have a baby and it is especially hard to have a baby that early so I am going to call your daddy and see if he wants me to let you guys stay with me..” Grace asks “What if he says no?” Leah responds “If he says no then we just have to deal with it.”
Kailyn had a medical emergency and had to spend some time in the hospital. She calls her friend and tells her “Javi and I have been fighting so we are going to take a couple days apart. I am going to come to Mexico to see you and I will have Lincoln while Isaac is with his dad.”
Nathan and his girlfriend are at his family’s house for dinner. Nathan says he is going to hire a lawyer to sue for visitation because he hasn’t seen Kaiser for three weeks. They ask if Janelle is withholding Kaiser from him. Nathan says “Yes because she knows that is the only way to get to me.” Jessica jumps in and says “You need to see your son because he needs you.” They ask Jessica if she is nervous about going to court. She says “No because the evidence is the evidence and it tells the truth.” She asks Nathan if he will go with her and he says “Of Course I will.”
Chelsea and Cole are celebrating their engagement at home with Aubree. Chelsea asks Aubree if she is happy they are getting married. Aubree says “Yes.” Chelsea talks to Cole and asks if he was nervous. Cole says he was but he had also been excited. They take a picture with her engagement ring and post it on social media.
Leah calls her cousin and tells her “I called Corey to ask if he needed help with Miranda having the baby early and being in the hospital and he told me no, he had it all worked out” Her cousin gets upset and Leah says “It feels like he is trying to push me out of the girls lives and all I can do is fight against it.” Her cousin says “Wouldn’t it make more sense to let the mother of the children take them while you deal with everything?” Leah agrees and says “When I had Addy I called him and asked himi if he wanted the girls.”
Kailyn arrives in Mexico and tells her friend “Javi and I have been fighting because I had a miscarriage and I didn’t feel like he went through the grieving process with me. He either didn’t grieve at all or he did it without me so, along with the fact that he is being deployed, it has been really stressful and we were fighting.” Kailyn starts to cry and her friend hugs her.
Chelsea is going to see her dad. Meanwhile Adam has Aubree and asks her “Do you want to go see your grandma?” Aubree says “Yeah.” Adam is talking to his friend and tells him “I have texted Chelsea to see if we can work this out without lawyers and she just refuses.” At he dad’s house she is talking to him about the whole proposal. Chelsea says “I’m going to get married and be a wife.” Randy tells her that Cole called him and asked him for permission to marry her. He said “I thought it would be funny to scare him. “ Chelsea says “Don’t scare him.”
Janelle hears from her lawyer. She says “We asked for a jury trial to buy some time.” The lawyer tells Janelle that she talked to Nathan about the situation. She tells her that “I think you should sit down with Nathan and work out a visitation agreement where he has Kaiser every other weekend.” Janelle wonders how they went from the court case to talking about Kaiser. The lawyer continues to advocate for Nathan which angers Janelle, who hangs up the phone, goes to her room and slams the door. David goes in to talk to her and she tells him what the lawyer said. He tells her “If she is going to advocate for Nathan and Jessica then she is not your lawyer.”
Leah is running late getting Aly to choir practice because of some issues getting her dressed. Leah loses her cool slightly. Leah gets upset when she sees that Gracie brought her cat. Leah is still upset that Corey won’t allow the girls to stay with her.
Jo has Isaac and Javi picks up Kailyn from the airport after her trip to New Mexico. They talk about the miscarriage and Kailyn tells him “I talked about it for a second and then I didn’t want to talk about it anymore.” Javi tells her “After the miscarriage I needed someone to blame so I took it out on you. I’m sorry.” Kailyn and Javi cry together.
