Teresa Giudice knows that this upcoming Christmas holiday will be a miserable one for her and her daughters. In fact, the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star is making it no secret that her husband Joe Giudice’s incarceration is ruining her family holiday.
Teresa spent one year in jail for making false statements on loan applications, along with conspiracy to commit mail, wire, and bank fraud on a 39-count indictment. Teresa was released in December of 2015 and only spent a few short months with Joe Guidice before it was his turn to head behind bars. He is currently serving his 41-month sentence at a correctional facility in Fort Dix, New Jersey.
Even though Joe managed to raise the couple’s four daughters on his own, Teresa is falling apart without him. She’s already mentioned in several interviews that she misses Joe dearly and is having a hard time dealing with life as a single mother. This Christmas is going to be even more painful for her as it will be the first time she’ll be spending the holiday by herself. Last year, she managed to spend Christmas with Joe and the girls after she was released from a Connecticut prison on December 23.
This year her family won’t be so lucky. Teresa even told In Touch Magazine, “We email constantly and we speak on the phone every day. It’s not the same. My girls miss them too but they are dealing with it the best they can.”
Teresa also added that she even sends Joe gifts along with books about finances. Still, she’s worried that her marriage will never be the same. Teresa Giudice wants her family life to go back to the way it once was, but with Joe Giudice in jail, that’s simply not going to happen. The holiday season has always been a special affair for Teresa. Knowing that this will be the first year without Joe will be especially tough on her and her daughters.
