#The100 starts at Lexa’s tower. Clarke is sketching a sleeping Lexa who wakes startled. Clarke comforts her and says she’s okay then asks about her dream. Lexa says the commanders speak to her in her sleep and she sees their death and war at the hands of an assassin.

Lexa says it’s a warning. She says they think she’s betraying their legacy and says blood for blood has always been the way of their people. Clarke tells her she stopped a war and her legacy will be peace. Lexa sees the drawing and Clarke says it’s not done yet.

They are interrupted by Titus and he has a box from King Roan for Wanheda. He says it’s proof of his loyalty and answer to a question. Inside is Emerson tied up. The man lunges at her and knocks her down. Lexa has a screaming Emerson hauled out and locked up.

If you don’t recall, Emerson is the only survivor of the Mount Weather crew and was Cage’s right hand dude. He’s the one who gave the self-destruct codes to the Ice Nations so they could blow it up and kill a bunch of Skaikru.

Pike has Hannah and a detail taking soil and water samples. Octavia radios back to Kane as they spot a Grounder kid. Hannah tells him not to be scared but then one of the guys plans to shoot him. Octavia tells Kane she has to help the kid.

One of the guys shoots and misses. Octavia grabs the kid and shushes him. Gillmer goes another way and Hannah almost hears Octavia who winces as some tree sap falls on her and burns. Hannah leaves and Octavia lets the kid go then radios Kane.

Octavia says whatever Pike is up to, he’s willing to kill a kid to keep it quiet. Abby checks out Raven whose pain is gone but the leg still doesn’t work. Abby checks her for signs of drugs and finds nothing. Abby then runs a tox screen. Abby clears her and says tell Sinclair she cleared her.

Raven leaves smiling. Kane and Nate go poking around to find out what Pike is up to. Nate plants a bug while Kane goes to intercept him. Kane says the stuff Jaha is giving out is a problem then complains about the Grounders. He says help them or let them go.

Kane says not all Grounders are the enemy and says public opinion can change. Bellamy is with Pik eon all of this. Jaha has a line of people ready to take the city of light pill. Jasper is watching. Pike starts a meeting and has Zoe and Monty there.

He talks about expansion. Octavia is on the radio. Pike says the soil is fertile and they will clear the trees and plant. Hannah says soybeans and corn grow fastest. Monty looks at the map and says there’s a village there. Bellamy says those people aren’t a threat.

Pike says they need the land or they’ll starve. Nate and Kane listen as does Octavia. Pike says every field must be cleared. Hannah says they don’t expect resistance and Monty says they will. Bellamy says blood must not have blood and Pike says die fighting or starve.

Pike is ready to break the peace that Lexa offered. He asks if they’re ready to do what they must. Octavia listens as Bellamy says they’ll do it. She’s furious. Titus says Clarke is clouding Lexa’s judgment. Clarke shows up when called.

Lexa says they have to discuss the fate of the last mountain man. Titus wants him dead and Clarke agrees. Titus says it’s human nature to need vengeance and says that’s our way. Lexa tells Clarke that blood must not have blood only applies to her.

Clarke says that’s about not starting a war. Killing Emerson is about ending a war. Titus says the crime is against her people and Lexa asks Clarke if it’s banishment or death by 49 cuts from her hand. She tells her decide by sundown and they leave her.

Octavia sharpens her sword and hears footsteps in the cave. Bryan brought her horse so she can talk to the Grounders about evacuating. She says if Lexa hears Skaikru slaughtered another village, they will have war. She takes off.

Raven is smiling and touches her leg that’s now pain free. Jaha is there and she thanks him and Alie who says more are joining because of her. Jaha says they want Raven to do a job for them. Alie says she’s been searching for something and says version two of her code is in the computers of the ark.

Raven asks why there’s a version two and Jaha cautions her. Raven says she would know if there’s AI on the ark. Alie says it’s dormant or unfinished. She asks Raven to get her access and she agrees. Alie asks why she didn’t tell her the truth.

He says Murphy rejected them when he heard the truth and says she might not look for a program that ended the world. Bellamy loads up supplies for the raid and Monty asks why do this? Bellamy says they aren’t trying to make peace, they’re building a life.

Kane tells Hannah not to send Monty out there to die but she won’t hear it. Bryan tells his BF to be careful – he’s going on the mission. Kane stares at Bryan who nods. Kane watches them go. Octavia rides to the Grounder village.

She holds up her hands to show she’s no danger. She says she means them no harm and dismounts. Semet says she’s a liar and she was at the mountain and she’s Skaikru. They tell her their guns killed their people. Octavia says she’s there to warn them that the soldiers are on the way.

She says they want their land and will kill them all to get it. She says leave now. Semet kicks her and knocks her down and accuses her of threatening them. She says she’s trying to help but Semet says he can’t trust her. Gavriel, the kid, says she saved him

Octavia asks why the kid didn’t speak up before she was kicked in the face. Abby says that chronic pain don’t go away but Jackson says there are no drugs in her system. He says it’s hard to recognize Hope when it’s in front of us.

She sends him out as Kane comes in. He says Octavia should be at the village now and they worry what will happen. Kane says he let this happen and says he demanded an election. He says now we have Pike in charge and are on the brink of a war we can’t win.

He says all he can do is send kids into harm’s way. Abby says they’re not kids anymore. He says Bellamy is the key with Clarke gone but he’s under Pike’s influence. She kisses his cheek. He asks why and Abby says let’s call it hope.

Octavia waits by her horse and tells Gavriel he can pet him. He lays his hand on the creature and Semet tells Gavriel to get his things. Semet says Skaikru killed both his parents. The village is packing to go and Octavia says he’s making a brave choice.

Octavia spots them building something and then Semet says she knows nothing about them and they knock her down. Raven is patching Alie into the mainframe and asks why the second AI would be in space. She says her creator wanted a secure work environment.

She says it was because of her. Jasper is there and she asks why he’s there and why Jaha’s backpack is down here. She has the device that Jaha brought. Raven shuts it. Jasper says he came to apologize for spreading Finn’s ashes and spread them at the drop ship.

He thinks she’s pissed and she says no and then he asks what she’s on and how does he get some. She smiles and says simple. She says she decided she suffered long enough and if he’s ready, Jaha has the key.

Clarke comes to see Emerson who is tied up. He says he heard they call her Wanheda, commander of death. She says she knew it was him that gave them the codes. He says she’s the one who destroyed Mount Weather, men, women and children. He says two of those kids were his.

She says Cage gave them no choice. He screams at her in fury then asks if he doesn’t like to face her own demons. She says if you want mercy, ask for it. He says he wants mercy, not revenge. He says he wants her to suffer like he did. He says she can kill him and her pain has just begun.

He screams that he wants her to suffer. Clarke finds Titus in her room and he says she talks so much about peace so the two of them should have peace. Clarke agrees. They sit across from each other. He says he knows she’s in a predicament after convincing Lexa to back down.

He says this new policy will be equally as difficult for their people. She says Emerson is guilty and he says Clarke wiped out Emerson’s people for what a few did. He says blood must not have blood is folly and will get Lexa killed. He asks her to help him protect Lexa.

She says she can’t start a war against her people. Titus nods and says they’re at an impasse. He nods and leaves. Jasper looks at the pill and asks if it’s hurt. Alie says he’s ready. Jasper asks what if it’s mental not physical pain and Alie says pain is pain and Jaha repeats the phrase.

Jasper says see you on the other side and starts to take it but Abby grabs his hand and stops it. She asks if she’s interrupting then asks to see it. Jasper hands it to her. She looks at it and says these are working miracles then asks what it is.

She says tell me the science. Alie says tell her it’s all right. He says it’s a silicon based device that interrupt pain receptors in the brain stem. Abby asks if she can test it to make sure there are no side effects. She asks if he would have given it to Wells without testing it.

He doesn’t remember Wells but then Alie says your son. He says of course. Jasper asks for it back and Abby says leave them for a minute and won’t give it to him. Abby says she‘s shutting him down until she tests it. Jaha says he’s trying to help eliminate pain like she does.

Abby says it’s eliminating more than just pain. She walks off. Jaha tells Alie they can’t let her stop us. Jackson is there and tells Alie he’ll keep an eye on her. Aha! Alie has someone in Abby’s lab on their side. She tells Jaha not to worry.

Octavia wakes in the rain. Semet says the trap is laid and as soon as it sets, they head for Polis to tell Lexa about this. The Skaikru truck pulls up and the team gets out. Hannah wonders if no one is home. Bellamy looks around then calls out.

Hannah says maybe their lights scared them off. They move in. Octavia tries to shake the gag out of her mouth so she can’t warn them. The Grounders wait to light arrows. They knocked Octavia down. Bellamy is closer and Octavia screams that it’s a trap – poison smoke.

The Grounders light it up and Bellamy says pull back. Monroe screams for help from Monty. He runs into the poison smoke and drags him out. Monty screams for Monroe and coughs. Bellamy has Monroe who is dying – that’s Bryan’s BF.

Hannah says his sister did this and Bellamy asks how she knew. Hannah says there are traitors among them. Semet comes back for Octavia. Drums beat in Polis as Emerson awaits his fate. Lexa enters the throne room and says they come together to watch a man die.

She calls up Wanheda and Clarke comes up. Lexa hands her a knife and says vengeance is hers. Clarke approaches Emerson. She says no. The crowd murmurs. Clarke says he doesn’t know if her death would bring her peace but she doesn’t deserve the peace.

Titus says he must die. Clarke says she can’t kill Emerson for what she’s done and says in Grounder. She gives him his life – blood must not have blood. Emerson screams and rages. Lexa says Wanheda knows that one man cannot pay for the crimes of Mount Weather.

She says this is a new way for their children to flourish without the shadow of death. She says he’s banished and must live with the ghosts of those he has lost – haunted until the end of his days that he’s the last of his kind.

Clarke tells Emerson – may you live forever. Titus glares. Clarke smiles. Emerson glares. Pike brings Bellamy in and asks how he is. Pike says two people died because of Octavia and the ash poisoned the soil. Pike says she warned the Grounders.

Pike says someone is giving her information and they both know it’s Kane. He tells Bellamy to find him some proof. He sends Bellamy out. Murphy is with Titus and he wants to know about the key. Jaha says they have willing converts but no keys.

Alie says Becca went into space but wasn’t on an ark station. Raven says she’s sorry and then Jaha says there were 13 stations not 12. He says the ark was supposed to made of 13 stations. Raven says that data was scrubbed. He says blowing a station out of the sky to get people to join wasn’t a great idea.

Titus begins brutally beating Murphy for not knowing more as the teen screams. Jaha says the thirteenth station was called Polaris. We see a hunk of metal that once said Polaris but the A and R are smeared out. It reads Polis. It’s in Lexa’s city!

THE END!
