“The Bold and The Beautiful” (B&B) spoilers reveal that Katie Spencer (Heather Tom) may have more going on than Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) realize. Katie was heartbroken when she heard Brooke and Bill talking, but could that be literal?
We all know Katie has a history of heart trouble – even after her heart transplant. Now we’ve seen her have what looks like weak spells during her rage attacks at Brooke – and when she was alone pondering how it felt to hear Brooke tells Bill that he’s the love of her life.
When Katie went to Brooke’s house to formally fire her and it turned into a messy confrontation, it looked like Katie had some sort of spell. In coming days, we will see Katie continuing to rage about her sister even as Bill and Eric Forrester (John McCook) try to talk her down.
B&B spoilers also indicate that Brooke and Bill will soon have a talk about Katie’s increasingly erratic behavior and worry that there could be more to it than simple jealousy. It’s true, though, that in the case of Katie-Bill-Brooke, the jealousy is not so simple.
In fact, it’s a complicated history that’s ugly and involves Bill bouncing between them. But what Katie is doing now seems too extreme even for what she witnessed. Both Bill and Brooke have insisted that nothing physical happened, but she doesn’t believe them.
Unfortunately, B&B spoilers also tease that Bill and Brooke may take things further, despite Katie’s obvious distress over them getting to close. Could this whole mess with Brooke and Bill drive Katie to a heart attack or heart failure?
Confusion and impaired thinking are symptoms of heart failure and Katie seems to be experiencing this along with fatigue and dizzy spells. Is all this a red flag that Katie’s transplanted heart is going bad on her?
When Brooke mentioned her heart as a concern, Katie lashed out and accused Brooke of wanting her dead so she can have Bill. Of course, Katie has every reason to suspect the very worst of Brooke and Bill, but this time they were trying to be good – all for her sake.
The big question is – was Katie already suffering heart issues? Or did the Brooke-Bill encounter she overheard stress her into heart failure? If Katie’s ticker is pooping out on her, are Brooke and Bill to blame?
No doubt they will blame themselves, but was it already in play and the stress of Katie thinking they had an affair just the straw that broke it? What do you think? Is Katie on the verge of total heart failure? Is she about to be in another transplant-or-die scenario?
Katie doesn’t have another brother around to kill himself to give her a heart – would Brooke consider the same move to save her sister? Or has Katie’s time just run out? Will her heartbreak over Brooke’s cheating ways be what breaks her heart for good?
