Tonight’s episode of The Catch begins with Alice in bed with Ben. They get up and get dressed – Alice asks what is supposed to happen next, Ben thinks that they should run away and get married. Alice considers it, but she knows it’s not realistic. She tells Ben that they have to say goodbye – so they head back to bed to have sex again and say a proper goodbye.

While Ben is in the shower, Alice calls Dao and tells him to meet her and Val at the office in an hour. Little does she know – he is already with Val, they had sex the night before. He hangs up and Val tells him that no one can know about them, it was just rebound sex.

Ben heads back to the house, Reese is waiting for him, he taunts him about his walk of shame. Reese says that he has another job for him –but he is going to have to stay in Los Angeles a little bit longer.

Meanwhile, Alice sits down with Val – she says that she thinks that Christopher is just a pawn in a much bigger game. And, she wants to use him to find the king – whoever he is working with – and take him down. Val takes Alice aside, she’s worried about her, she gives her the number to a therapist and says that she should talk to someone professionally.

Alice and Val meet with their next client, Singh’s son Joey ran away. Singh explains that Joey has been upset because he didn’t want to live with him, he wanted to live with his mother. Joey’s mom is unstable though and she is bipolar. Singh says that he already went to Joey’s mom Karen’s house and Joey isn’t there.

Alice and her team get to researching Joey. His dad is worth $400 Million, he’s a video game programmer. He’s been missing for over 12 hours, his dad Vincent Singh had the nanny put him to bed and in the morning he was gone. They trace Joey’s phone, the last ping from it was at 10:00 the night before in a rural park. They find the phone at the park, buried in leaves, and smashed.

Meanwhile, Ben and Reese are working on their next big con. Teddy Seavers is young and dumb, and worth over $100 Million. They are going to convince him to buy in to a high stakes poker game at the hotel – that is totally fabricated, and then they will set the game up so he loses and take all of his money.

Alice’s team pulls the security camera footage from the park where they found Joey Singh’s phone, and it does not look good for him. Joey may have run away from home, but he was kidnapped from the park. A man and a woman found Joey walking at night. They convinced him to get in their car so they could drive him home, and then tossed his phone in the woods. Alice show Singh and Joey’s mom the security video footage – but neither of them recognize the kidnappers.

Sophie is able to bring Joey’s smashed phone back to life. She finds SnapChat stories that his mother Karen sent him saved to his phone. She sent him pictures of the man and the woman at the park ahead of time so that he would know that it was safe to leave with them. Joey’s mom Karen set the entire “kidnapping” up.

Alice and Val sit down with Karen – she confesses to setting up the kidnapping, but refuses to tell them where Joey is. She is willing to go to jail, she wants Joey to grow up happy – and he is miserable with his dad. Karen says that Vincent sued her for full custody of Joey because he didn’t want to have to payher child support, all he cares about is money and his video game company, he does days without even seeing JOey or talking to him. Karen says the only reason Vincent got custody of Joey was because he bribed a psychiatrist to say that she was bipolar and dangerous in court.

Ben and Reese’s plan goes awry. They convince Teddy to buy in to the game at $3 Million. But, then Teddy’s girlfriend goes through his phone and sees the messages about the game. Apparently he is in Gambler’s Anonymous. Teddy says that his girlfriend won’t let him come and backs out. Reese and Ben activate plan B, they bring in their pal Ricky “The Ring” Arrington aka Ben’s new partner Reggie, a notorious gambler. When Teddy sees Ricky at the hotel and realizes that he will be at the game – he changes his mind and tells Ben that he will be there.

Alice learns that Karen hired a black market network that helps kidnap kids for parents who lose custody of them. They move them from safe house to safe house, and help create new ID’s and passports for them. The network holds on to the kids until the parent that hired them can pick them up safely and move them away with their new identities. Alice and her team have hit a dead end – so Alice meets up with Ben, she asks him if he knows about the black network or who might have been hired to make the fake passports. Ben says that he will look in to it and get back to her.

Ben gets back to Alice with a photo of Joey’s new Passport. Alice tracks it and finds out that he is going to fly out of LAX to Canada. They contact the police and rush to the airport and get Joey back before he crosses the Canadian border. Karen is arrested for the kidnapping. But, Alice finds proof that Karen was telling the truth and Vincent paid off witnesses to testify that she was crazy. Karen and Val use the proof to blackmail Vince into signing custody of Joey over to Karen’s sister, where he can live with her until his mom gets out of jail.

Teddy shows up to Ben and Reese’s con poker game with $3 Million in cash. There are cameras built in to the poker table – and Margot controls the whole game from another room, telling Reese, Ben, and Reggie when to fold or call. They are about to have cleaned out Teddy, but Reese gets drunk and screws up then dumps his alcohol on the table and shorts out the cameras. Margot kicks drunk Reese out, and then Reggie and Ben have to play cards all night – the real way – luckily they manage to still win all of Teddy’s chips and are up $3 Million.

After the game is over, Margot notices that the bottle her brother Reese was drinking out of was water, he was never drunk. Margot tracks down Reese, he is seeing off his new business partner Weatherby. Reese laughs and confirms he was never drunk. He played Margot – Teddy was supposed to have a meeting with Weatherby, Reese used Margot and Ben to distract Teddy so he could steal his meeting. Kensington is now half owners of the entire Weatherby chain of hotels across America.

Margot is furious – she shouts at her brother that the US is her territory. Reese laughs, Margot has been off her “A Game.” He takes out his phone and shows her a picture of Alice, he tells her that Alice is the one that cost her Ben, and she just cost her the US territory too.

Tonight’s episode ends with Alice meeting up with Ben. She tells him that she is helping the FBI take down Kengsinton Firm…he needs to choose sides. If he stays with them – he is going to jail.

THE END!
