Ben was in serious trouble on tonight’s all new episode of “The Catch”. Apparently the Benefactor that everyone has been talking about and that everyone fears had come to town. And he wants the diamond bracelet that Ben and Margot were supposed to steal for him, but there was just one thing wrong that. Alice had unfortunately taken the bracelet off of Ben while he had been asleep at her place.

Alice it seems had seen Ben steal that bracelet. So she had assumed Ben got caught up on another con. However, Ben had needed that bracelet back so he had called her and had tried to warn her about the situation he was in if she didn’t give him the bracelet. And yet Alice thought he was making everything up.

She hadn’t believed him when he said his life was in danger nor did she take him seriously when he told her that she could be at risk as well just for having the bracelet on her. Yet, the reappearance of Agent Dao had put some things into focus for her. Agent Dao had known that the ladies at the agency wouldn’t want to help him, but he felt it was fair to tell them that their Mr. X had struck again.

He told them that the man they knew as Christopher Hall had apparently stolen a diamond bracelet from the Laragan Prime Minister. So Agent Dao had hope his newfound honesty would help the ladies at Anderson Vaugh Investigation Firm to see that he wasn’t the bad guy and that he could be trusted. But Alice had told him that a few pieces of information didn’t make up for the fact he had bugged her apartment.

And so Agent Dao had promptly been dismissed. Though Alice did figure out some things thanks to him. He had told her that every crime syndicate in town was after that bracelet. So Alice finally realized just what amount of danger she was in and she got back into contact with Ben who overheard the moment two hired guns had gotten the drop on her.

The culprits had simply sneaked up right behind her while she had been on the phone. So Alice hadn’t known about them until she turned out and saw two people pointing their guns at her. And much to her dismay there hadn’t been a single person around. Danny and Sophie had gone out to investigate their latest case with an Army captain that happened to be a good friend of Sophie’s new boyfriend.

Only Alice didn’t too bad on her own. She had actually been gaining the upper hand in the fight when she got distracted by Ben arriving to help and someone managed to sneak up behind her again. So Ben held off on doing anything until he knew that Alice was save, but that allowed a con artist known as Mickey Shive to get away with the bracelet. So when Ben returned to the Benefactor that also happens to be Margot’s brother Rhys, he had to pass on some unfortunate news.

Only Rhys hadn’t been that upset. So the others knew that he was hiding something and that bracelet must mean something more than he was letting on however there was nothing either Margot or Ben could do about it. Rhys had understood that someone stolen the bracelet from Ben so he told Ben to tell him everything he knew about Mickey. And then left with Ben to go spy on Mickey.

Rhys and Ben had apparently been quite good friends before Ben decided to leave the firm in order to be with Margot and supposedly become his own man. But Rhys pointed out that Margot basically controls Ben now and that he still wasn’t his own man. So Rhys said that he could forgive Ben and that Ben could come back to the firm. Only he said nothing about his own sister.

Margot on the other hand had used Rhys’s sometimes girlfriend to find out why the bracelet was so important. So she now knows that Rhys had been planning on using the bracelet into paving the way for expansion. Rhys wanted to expand his criminal enterprise into India, Africa, and the Middle East. And returning the bracelet to the rightful owners such as the Indian government was going to help him do that.

So Margot ultimately decided to take that bracelet for herself. She later called Ben and told him that he should hand the bracelet over to her instead of her brother. Yet, she hadn’t told him why he should do that and more importantly she had left him with her murderous brother. Rhys had a tendency to kill his way through any foe so he killed Mickey Shive the second he found him and he created such a stink that Agent Dao had thought it was Mr. X killing everyone.

That’s why he went he about by Alice and Valerie’s firm and he informed them about the two bodies that had been found because Mickey was the only person he was claiming “Christopher” killed. There was also Nathalie DuChamp and Agent Dao said there would be many more. However, Ben had gone to Alice’s place and he waited around to tell her that he wasn’t behind Mickey’s death.

Although he said nothing of Nathalie. Almost as if he hadn’t known that he was being accused of killing her. So Ben had tried to assure Alice that he wasn’t the enemy and that he couldn’t be capable of hurting someone like though that time she hadn’t so sure. She had told him that she wouldn’t be able to keep buying what he was selling, but she also didn’t want him to get hurt.

So Alice and Ben came up with a plan. They had a forgery of the bracelet made and that way both Rhys and Agent Dao could be happy. Agent Dao would believe that rescued the bracelet yet Margot had other ideas for what to do with her brother. She said that she would hand the bracelet over to him if he agreed once and for all to wipe out the debt that she and Ben owe him.

And once she had told him that she knew his plans, he was kind of forced to come to an agreement with her. Though things hadn’t been that simply across town. Alice and Valerie had agreed to find out who was harassing Captain Nia Brooks and it seems that all of her friends as well as her own brother had been part of that scheme. They had wanted to push Nia to her breaking point as a way to frighten her out of the Rangers (which was supposedly for her own good), but Alice told her that no one could know what was right for her. Other than herself.

But while Nia felt like she should stay on with the Rangers, there came to be a downside with giving both Rhys and Agent Dao what they wanted. Agent Dao had felt he had gotten the bracelet too easy. So he thought someone had played though he didn’t why. And as for Rhys, he had wiped out Ben’s debt and then decided that he liked LA.

So much so that he wanted to expand his business there as well.

Felicity however had gotten caught sleeping with Margot while she was also sleeping with Rhys. So Rhys later demanded that she tell him why Margot had been on her other payment and, once he had found out about Alice Vaughn, he then killed Felicity. And began making plans about what to do with Alice.

THE END!
