Jasper told Liam the truth on tonight’s season finale. He told the young man about Ted and had shown the footage from that night. However, Jasper then took it upon himself to stop Liam from doing anything stupid which included confronting Ted at the first possible moment.

Apparently Jasper has picked up a few things while he was at the palace and he knew that the slightest thing could make Ted become suspicious. And possibly make a run for it. So Jasper told Liam that if they want justice for King Simon then they were going to have to come up with an especially crafty plan and learn patience in the meantime.

And so Jasper left the part about telling Eleanor up to Liam. He needed Liam to be the one that told Eleanor about Ted because he also needed someone that could stop Eleanor from acting out rashly. Which was what she wanted to do but Liam was luckily able to stop her.

He reassured her that he was going to do something but he failed to mention the part where he had planned on killing Ted. Jasper himself had only realize that had been where Liam was heading after Liam asked him about it. So Jasper then tried to talk Liam out of such a decision because he didn’t think either of them were ready to get blood on their hands.

But as they were going back and forth, Ted had already come up with his goodbye plan. He dropped off not only security footage of Helena’s mother confessing to murder but also feed which showed Cyrus snorting cocaine and Helena smoking pot. Therefore, Ted was prepared to burn all his bridges and he was going to use Jeffrey Stuart’s mad idea in order to carry it out.

Jeffrey had said they could broadcast the footage at the stadium that was going to be used for the annual King’s Cup. And according to Jeffrey, the stadium was to going to be hot bed of violence what with people generally disposed to it during a good English match. So Jeffery didn’t think it would matter to anyone if the Royal Family showed up dead.

In fact, he thought that just such a situation would never trace to back him. Even though he had threated Ted with blackmail and had told the other man that under no circumstances where any member of the Royal Family allowed to make it out of the stadium alive.

Only as crazy as Jeffrey was, he wasn’t the only one that had an elaborate plan. Liam had after all agreed to a Pow Wow with both his sister and his mother. And he had agreed to a plan that involved letting Helena be the one that monitored Ted at the King’s Cup.

However, Liam hadn’t meant any of it. He had changed the plan at the last second without telling anyone and that left everything in scrambles because both Jasper and Eleanor knew what Liam had been planning on doing next. So the sister called her brother. And she told him that he could still be the man that their father wanted him to be.

But Liam had been so angry and the more he thought about all those times Ted had said he could depend on him – the angrier he got.

So Liam had pulled a gun on Ted and he had demanded to know why his family. Yet Ted hadn’t been upset. If anything Ted had been awaiting death as if it was a release from his own pain. Therefore, he had even told Liam how to make his own death look like an accident.

And that one little act meant Liam had options. He could kill a man that has hurt his family or he could let them all be held accountable for what they’ve done. Which included murder, drugs, and conspiracy to commit murder.

Although, in the end Liam decided to go along with the original plan. So rather than kill Ted, he let Ted walk alongside him and still be at his side when the video they had of Ted killing the king ended up playing on the widescreen. And do you know what happened when the people got to see for themselves King Simon’s murder – they rioted as planned.

They had actually run onto the field the second they recognized Ted from the video and so Ted’s act on the job was to get Liam to safety. And then he was at the mercy of the crowd. So there is in fact a number of possible in what happened to him next.

But the important thing is Helena finally reasserted herself. She had ultimately convinced Prudence to align herself with team Helen and together they made Cyrus miss out on legitimatizing his son. It seems his fake wedding with Prudence had also been ordained by a fake minister. And that means he has no male heir to carry on his line.

Though Helena had also decided that maybe it was time to properly get a DNA test on Liam and Helena because she wants to put her son back on throne.

Only her other son Robert isn’t as dead as everyone believes.

THE END!
