A Walking Dead pregnancy! The Walking dead cast member Alex Breckenridge took to Instagram to announce that she is pregnant with baby number one, in a super cute way of course. Alex shared a photo of her growing baby bump, which took her followers by surprise, and she captioned it, “Someone doesn’t want to hide in his moms tummy anymore…”
So, not only is The Walking Dead actress very pregnant, but it looks like she is having a baby boy. The 33 year old AMC star is happily married to Casey Hooper, and this will be there first child together. SO far there is no news yet on her due date.
Alex Breckenridge played the part of Jessie Anderson on AMC’s The Walking Dead. Jessie made her debut on the zombie drama in Season 5 Episode 12, and then her character exited when Jessie was killed off in Season 6 of TWD.
Alex’s character Jessie Anderson’s exit was one for the books. The Walking Dead fans will recall that during the midseason premiere, Jessie lost her marbles when Sam was devoured by zombies and then she suffered a similar fate while trying to leave Alexandria.
When Jessie was trying to escape the zombie attack, she nearly pulled Carl down with her, but Rick saved him in the nick of time by chopping off her hand with his hatchet.
Maybe it is for the best that Alex Breckenridge is no longer a member of The Walking Dead cast, because let’s be honest – fighting off zombies during an apocalypse is no place for a pregnant woman. Although, it would have definitely been interesting if Jessie Anderson was still alive, and the writers wrote Alex’s pregnancy in to the storyline.
