The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, December 5, tease that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will gripe about Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) sleazy move. Hilary decided Dylan’s (Steve Burton) interview just didn’t float her boat. She jazzed it up a little with some scandalous editing. Now the footage makes it look like Dylan is standing against Sharon (Sharon Case).
Mariah will shout that everything is twisted, but Hilary won’t care. She’ll argue that it works and that’s why she’s the boss. Hilary thinks she knows exactly how to run GC Buzz and she certainly doesn’t need a lowly gofer’s input. She’ll suggest that Mariah should learn her place if she wants to stick around.

When Mariah’s loved ones are involved, she just won’t accept this kind of behavior. There’s a good chance Mariah will take her issues to Devon (Bryton James). After all, he’s the real boss at GC Buzz. Hilary likes to think she’s running the show, but Devon cuts the checks. His money is what allowed Hilary to take on this gig.
Y&R spoilers state that Devon will end up firing Hilary when she won’t cooperate. This isn’t what Devon had in mind when he began covering Genoa City’s gossip. Hilary obviously doesn’t agree with Devon’s vision, so she shouldn’t be part of it.
Elsewhere, Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) kind gesture will strike a nerve. Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) has swept many secrets under the rug since she came back to town. As a result, Chloe is quite private. She doesn’t like it when someone goes poking around.
Kevin will think he’s helping out by packing up some of Chloe’s belongings. When Chloe realizes Kevin has been rummaging through her closet, she’ll hit the roof. Chloe won’t appreciate this invasion of privacy. Was Chloe keeping anything important in there? Is this just Chloe’s paranoia creeping in? Either way, Chloe won’t be pleased.
Kevin’s actions could make Chloe question her decision to move in. The closer she gets to Kevin, the easier it will be for him to learn the truth. Chloe’s dark past should come to light eventually, but it may be a while before the whole story is revealed.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick (Joshua Morrow) will get updates on Christian’s condition. He’ll be informed that Christian is allergic to strawberries and that’s why he had this sudden health scare. Nick will have some harsh words for Dylan and Sharon once he realizes what’s up.
Monday’s preview video shows Nick asking, “Are you telling me that my son has food allergies and you two didn’t tell me about it?” Sharon and Dylan will seem disappointed in themselves for neglecting to disclose this crucial information. They put Christian’s life at risk.
Of course, Nick shares some blame in all of this. If he hadn’t been so belligerent, they could have coordinated a slow and cordial transition. Dylan and Sharon could’ve handed over medical records as well as any other info that Nick might need.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Dylan, Sharon and Nick will decide they’ve been focusing on themselves a bit too much. They need to concentrate on keeping Christian safe, healthy and happy.
