The Young and the Restless Spoilers (Y&R): Nikki Blackmails Judge Moxley, Results in Worse Outcome for Noah?

“The Young and The Restless” (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Judge Moxley (Jensen Buchanan) will be back on Tuesday February 23 and she’ll have immediate face time with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) over Noah Newman’s (Robert Adamson) hit and run case.

While it’s true that Noah didn’t know that he hit Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), the real problem is that he didn’t come forward and then the evidence of his involvement was hidden away. What’s frustrating is that Noah knew the right thing and wanted to do it, but he was swayed by others.

Marisa Sierras (Sofia Pernas) is the real perpetrator here since she convinced Noah to lie and let her clean up his mess by getting rid of his tires that were covered in Billy’s DNA. If Noah had come clean at the time like he wanted, none of this would be happening.

But he didn’t and now he’s under arrest. After Nikki recovers from the shock of finding out her son Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) arrested her grandson Noah for the crime of running over her son-in-law, she is determined to make things right for Noah.

So much time spent with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has convinced Nikki that the Newmans are above the law and don’t need to answer for their criminal actions like normal people do. In that vein, Nikki decides to run the same game on Judge Moxley that Victor did before.

Nikki approaches the judge – and former lover of Victor – and tries to sway her to come down easy on Noah in the hit and run case. Nikki may have stood by and watched Victor play hardball over the years, but she’s not an expert at getting her hands dirty like her hubby is – and she may fail.

We saw how angry Judge Moxley got the last time the Newmans tried to use her affair with Victor to sway a ruling and it’s not likely that she will handle it any better this time. But the bottom line is, Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) walked out of court with just a slap on the wrist.

Nikki wants a similar result for Noah’s case and is furious that Victor gave their grandson up to the cops over the accident. Nikki is willing to try anything to make this right and if it’s blackmail that’s necessary, she’ll do it.

Will Judge Moxley cave to Nikki’s demands or has she had enough of being leveraged by the Newmans? Perhaps she’ll decide to come clean about the affair so they can never mess with her again. That wouldn’t be a pretty outcome…

And with Billy insisting he doesn’t want to go after Noah for the accident since he knows that he didn’t see Billy lying on the ground, just how bad could the outcome of the case be if the Newmans let it run its course?

The GCPD has photos of Marisa dumping Noah’s tires into the landfill, but Noah wasn’t in the pics, so that only proves that Marisa was up to no good, not Noah. And by all accounts, Noah could not have seen Billy when he hit him.

The only thing they can really nail Noah on is failure to report the accident once he knew what happened – but that doesn’t see like an offense that would land him in jail, does it? Y&R spoilers indicate that when Nikki tries to play rough with the judge, things don’t work out like she wants.

Nikki will be stunned by what happens next. Will Nikki’s actions hurt Noah more than they help him? Has Judge Moxley finally had enough of the Newmans and turns the tables on them? Share your comments below and come back to CDL often for more “The Young and The Restless” spoilers.
