The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal something fans have been expecting for a while now. Abby Newman Rayburn (Melissa Ordway) plans to file for divorce, which blindsided her estranged husband, Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan). Abby will also shared her marital problems with her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), possibly seeking advice on how to proceed.
Abby and Stitch are not the only couple struggling. Abby’s older sister, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has also been at odds with her new beau, Travis Crawford (Michael Roark). Travis initially lied about who he was and kept quiet about his past involving working on Wall Street. Victoria forgave him, and gave him another chance.
In fact, when pressed by Travis about her love/hate relationship with her ex-husband, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Victoria deflected and invited Travis to move in with her instead. Billy hadn’t been paying much attention to Victoria, since his focus was on his brother, Jack’s (Peter Bergman) wife, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Now that Phyllis has made her intentions very clear by revealing the only man for her is Jack, The Young and the Restless spoilers share that Billy may be drawn back to a struggling Victoria.
Y&R fans recall that reveal that Victor Newman was furious with Travis and confronts him on why he is investigating his family; one more thing to separate Victoria from him. What Victor doesn’t realize is that his accusations and persistent negative views on Travis could very well throw Victoria right back into Billy Boy’s arms.
Travis really seems to care for Victoria, but with so many of his secrets being exposed, after she told him about all the lies Billy told her, how is Victoria ever going to be able to trust him? Billy may be a screw up, and will always have a vendetta against Victor, but Victoria knows all his secrets and how he works.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that with Travis broken-hearted over Victoria and Abby depressed over the “death” of her marriage, these two are bound to meet, and share stories of their shattered love lives; add a little bit of alcohol, and you can be sure fireworks are going to explode in Genoa City.
