“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers tease that May sweeps will feature several plots for power. Victor (Eric Braeden) is still working on his plan to get out of prison, but that doesn’t mean he’s just sitting around twiddling his thumbs. Even in the slammer, Victor is a man with great control over his loved ones.
He’ll continue his revenge mission in hopes that the Newmans will all grovel for forgiveness.
Meanwhile, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will have a scheme of her own in play. We’ve already seen what Hilary does to people who create obstacles for her. Hilary’s quest for Genoa City domination will soon reach a whole new level. Elsewhere, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will try to find a life outside the office.
Travis (Michael Roark) will undoubtedly help Victoria get her head out of the corporate chaos.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) marriage could be on the rocks. As Stitch remains in denial over Max’s (Jared Breeze) atrocious actions, Abby will become even more convinced that the little brat caused her fall.
If they can’t stand united as parents, their relationship could completely crumble.
Of course, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Jack’s (Peter Bergman) relationship isn’t exactly on solid ground either. It’s clear that Phyllis loves Jack, but she seems to be craving something new. “Red” is feisty and she likes some excitement in her love life. Billy (Jason Thompson) is looking for a bit of a thrill, too. That could be a recipe for disaster if temptation gets the best of them.
Summer (Hunter King) may also get in over her head when it comes Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva). Y&R viewers know that Luca is bad news, but Summer is apparently determined to ignore any red flags. Luca claims he wants to help Summer call the shots, but this could all be part of a grander plan to help himself.
Finally, we have what is perhaps the hottest storyline this May Sweeps month. Sharon (Sharon Case) will weave a web as Genoa City tries to cope with Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) shocking death. Every day brings another chance to get caught and that’s really going to rattle Sharon.
One thing’s for sure: Sage’s demise has definitely sent the Christian reveal spinning in a new direction. Now that Sage is out of the picture, it leaves the door open for more surprises. Sharon will try desperately to preserve her family’s bliss, but how long can she keep the truth under wraps?
