Who is The Bachelor 2017 spoilers are in, and the Season 21 Bachelor is none other than … Nick Viall. The Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise alum really needs no introduction. First Nick Viall made it to the final two on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette, and then she dumped him.
Then Nick Viall made it the final two on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season, and she dumped him as well. This summer Nick Viall returned to reality TV for Bachelor In Paradise, although he has been hanging out with Jen in Paradise, it is pretty clear they don’t wind up getting engaged.
The Bachelor spoilers and rumors have been teasing for a few seasons now that Nick Viall would be the next Bachelor – but this time, they are actually true! Ironically, this is the first time in a long time that ABC did not select a Bachelor from the previous season of The Bachelorette. Although, no one is entirely surprised, Jojo’s season of The Bachelorette was a bit of a snoozefest, aside from the entertaining Chad drama.
The exciting Bachelor announcement was made on Tuesday August 30 during the live episode of the Bachelor In Paradise: After Dark talk show. When Nick Viall took the stage, everyone was in complete shock, for obvious reasons. Although Nick did become a bit of a villain, he has definitely redeemed himself this summer on Bachelor In Paradise. Let’s be honest – the guy has gotten dumped twice on national television, isn’t it about time he actually finds love?
Interestingly enough, Nick Viall and Josh Murray’s rivalry also flared up in Paradise. And, it became pretty clear that Josh Murray might not be the innocent victim that he has portrayed himself as over the years. We can’t help but wonder what Josh M. thinks of Nick Viall getting to be ABC’s next Bachelor? Or Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe for that matter?
