Chloe and Dariela had both gotten their hands on the poisonous gas that the government wanted to use for the NOAH Objective however, they both decided to destroy it when they were conned by the general men and only one of them was left trapped when that tank exploded.

The ladies had set off the tank because they didn’t want the General Davies to get his hands on it again. Yet, that explosion ended up quickly filling up the room so it had truly been a race to safety and sadly Chloe just hadn’t been as fast as Dariela. So Dariela had to make a decision. She could wait for her friend to make it out of the blast zone or close off the room so the explosion couldn’t spread to other parts of the building like where the hundreds of people were still having a party upstairs. And so unfortunately, Dariela’s had to make the choice that she knew Chloe would have.

Dariela chose to close off the room and that meant Chloe got trapped inside of a poisonous blast zone. Though for a second there, it had almost looked as if the others could save Chloe in time. Jackson and the guys had showed up not long after Chloe had gotten trapped and so their first priority was getting Chloe out of there as fast as possible. They had managed to speedily clear the room that Chloe was trapped in so that they could retrieve her, but even as they thought they could save her, all they managed to do was buy Chloe enough time to tell them about Jamie.

Chloe had used her last dying breath to tell them where Jamie was. Jamie had apparently gotten a message out that she was heading to a safe place called Caraquet. So even as the guys eventually lost Chloe who had essentially been their leader, they still had some bit of hope because now they knew where Jamie was. But just like when they thought that they could save Chloe, they were disappointed to find out that they couldn’t go rushing to save Jamie. “The Courier” as it turns out had other plans for them.

Mitch’s stepmother had later commandeered their airplane which as it happens actually belonged to her. So Allison wasn’t going to give the plane back to them until the one team that she knew she could count on agreed to help her with the problem at her orchard. Orchards around the world have grown in importance since people were forced to give up meat so if there was an animal or species out there that was destroying their fruit and crop supply then odds are that people were going to be starving to death. And apparently, that was more important to Allison than some missing member of Mitch’s team.

Mitch however, didn’t want to trust his stepmother. He said that she couldn’t be trusted and he seemingly had no clue that she had once been in contact with Chloe. So Chloe had been keeping secrets from the others and if Alison hadn’t mentioned “The Courier” then they wouldn’t have even known that she and Chloe had been working together. But while the team was forced to help Allison for the better good, there were a few issues that no one wanted to deal. Like the fact that Jackson blamed Dariela for Chloe’s death.

Jackson felt that Dariela had been too hasty with closing that door and so he didn’t even want Dariela to be around because he hated her that much. However, in his grief over Chloe, Jackson was being irrational with Dariela as well as exacerbating his condition. Jackson had later tried crying for Chloe and his tears had been black. So the dormant part of Jackson’s DNA was waking up and for some reason Jackson wasn’t freaking out about it. If anything, he was willing to use it to help Allison with her problem.

Allison’s crops were being attacked by a species although she couldn’t figure why the snakes were suddenly swarming her orchard. So Mitch had agreed to study one of the snakes and unfortunately it had gotten out when he least suspected it. Though neither Mitch nor Allison had to worry about the snake attacking them because Jackson had been there. Jackson had allowed the snake to come close to his arm so snake that ended up associating Jackson with the animal that beat him.

The downside though was that he exposed himself. Abe, Dariela and Allison hadn’t known that Jackson was mutating so it had come as a surprise to them when they realized how dangerous he could potentially be. But Mitch had tried to reassured them by telling them Jackson could help him figure out a cure. So that had calmed Abe and Allison down although Dariela had been a different story. Dariela it seems had wondered why Jackson would suddenly trust her with a secret like that and luckily she had picked up on a few clues.

Dariela had eventually figured out that the only reason Jackson was willing to be open with her was because he needed someone to kill him if he loses control. So Dariela had asked him about it and that was the reason why he was ok with her around. He said that if she was willing to close the door on Chloe then she should have no problem with killing him if necessary. And so they had come to a strange agreement, but that wasn’t even half as strange as what they found in Caraquet when they finally went to get Jamie.

Caraquet which was supposed to be a safe haven had turned into something straight out of a dystopian fantasy when the people inside of the fenced community began feeding dissenters to the animal outside in exchange for safety. So when the team touched down in Caraquet, they found Jamie not long after she bombed the haven’s defenses and allowed polar bears to a free for all on the people inside. However, Jamie and even Logan had been safe. And they had also managed to save a young teenager by the name of Maddie who would have been fed to the polar bears if Jamie hadn’t helped her.

THE END!
