Tonight’s episode of Billions kicks off with Bobby Axelrod picking Lawrence Boyd up from jail, he paid his 5 Million bail. Bobby tells Boyd to go to his country house and take a sauna and get focused – then it’s time to fight back against Chuck Rhoades.

Meanwhile, Chuck Rhoades may think he’s winning the war against Boyd, but his personal life is a mess. He meets with his lawyer to discuss the 120 personal lawsuits that were filed against him, and it looks like he may be having financial problems. His lawyer suggest that it may be time to consider selling his house.

Later that night, Bobby send Paul to chat with Boyd. Paul has arranged for Boyd to wire $2.5 Million to Arendt’s wife every quarter, and in exchange he will stop cooperating with the attorneys and won’t testify against him. The next day, Chuck learns that Arendt has backed out, and his case is in serious trouble.

Axe and Wags are already working on their next project, they are trying to get in on a new casino deal. They meet with the developer and learn that there is an issue. Apparently, one of the homeowners, a guy named Flagg, that they tried to buy out won’t budge, and they need those 200 acres or the deal is off.

Chuck heads back to the house, he’s surprised to see Wendy there. Wendy talked to the kids, and their son told her what Chuck said, she’s grateful that he stuck up for her and kept a united front with the kids. Wendy sits down and has dinner with Chuck and the kids – they’re thrilled to see their parents together and on good terms. After dinner, Chuck and Wendy almost kiss – things get awkward and Wendy leaves.

Wendy heads to Chuck’s lawyer Ira’s house after dinner, she wants to talk about Chuck, she’s worried about him. Ira confirms that Chuck is getting crushed, and Bobby’s civil suits are serious – they could cost a pretty penny.

The next day, Wendy arranges a meeting with Bobby Axelrod, she says that she is reconsidering his offer to come back to work at the firm. Wendy wants a raise, obviously, and 2% stake in the company. Bobby negotiates the terms, and Wendy agrees to the pay. But, before their deal is official, Wendy wants Bobby to drop the lawsuits against Chuck. He agrees, as if it is no big deal.

Wendy’s shocked that Bobby agreed to drop the lawsuits so quickly. She realizes that Bobby filed the lawsuits just so that she would come back to work for him and ask him to drop them.

Bobby and his wife head out to dinner. They are still fighting because Bobby didn’t support her business venture. Bobby reveals that he talked to Wendy and is bringing her back to the firm, his wife is obviously not thrilled about it, and leaves him at the restaurant. The next day Wendy shows up to the office to sign her contracts, as promised Bobby tells Warren to call the lawyers and drop the lawsuits.

Chuck Rhoades’ father Chuck Sr. has had men following Bobby and his team. He learns that they have been making several trips to Sandicott and are trying to secure a casino license. Charles Sr. makes a few phone calls to confirm the new intel.

At Chuck’s office, Oliver Dake is still snooping around. Lonnie has been ignoring Dake, but he can’t keep him at bay much longer. Lonnie warns Chuck that his time is up – and he is going to have to cooperate. Chuck understands, and he tells Lonnie to do what he can do.

Bobby Axelrod heads to Sandicott to meet with Flagg himself and try to get him to sell his property for the casino. Bobby ups the offer to $2 Million, but Flagg isn’t interested. Apparently, Flagg has done his homework, and his girlfriend is a real estate agent. He plays hardball with Bobby, and negotiates him up to $7 Million.

It’s time for Lawrence Boyd’s day in court, Bryan runs the jury selection. And, he’s up against an entire fleet of top-notch lawyers who showed up on Boyd’s behalf. It looks like the jurors are not fans of Boyd, and Bryan gets them all worked up over how much money Boyd has – he paints him as a greedy and heartless banker who makes more in a month than they do in a lifetime.

After the messy juror selection, Lawrence Boyd is feeling scared, he wants to discuss cutting a deal with Chuck Rhoades. He offers to pay a fine and serve 5 years probation, but Chuck scoffs at his offer and says they are going to trial.

Meanwhile back at the office, Lonnie is being interrogated by Oliver Dake and it’s not going well. Dake accuses Lonnie of lying and threatens to have him disbarred. Lonnie finally admits that Chuck may have over-stepped his bounds.

The Attorney General calls Chuck Rhoades, she heard that Chuck turned down Boyd’s plea deal. She hints that she wants Chuck to take the deal, and considering that he’s walking on egg shells, he can’t really ignore her requests.

Before Lonnie can say anything more incriminating about Chuck, Oliver Dake receives a phone call from the Attorney General. She tells him to call off the investigation and wrap it up. Oliver heads in to Chuck’s office to say his goodbyes, and rattle him. He knows that Chuck broke his oath and numerous laws, but he’s apparently getting a free pass because he brought down Lawrence Boyd.

Wags calls Bobby Axelrod with bad news, he says that Lawrence Boyd cut a deal, and surrendered like a French soldier. Bobby returns home and he and Wags celebrate their victory in Sandicott, he’s going to make a pretty penny off Flagg’s land.

Bobby heads home to try and talk to his wife…again. She’s fed up with Bobby making decisions without her, and is furious that he hired Wendy. Bobby promises that he won’t have any sessions with Wendy, and he won’t let her get in his head or have any dirt on him. Bobby’s wife agrees, and they move on. Little does she know, Wendy already told Bobby that they weren’t having any sessions together.

Chuck heads out for drinks with Ira and Charles Sr. to celebrate his victory over Boyd. It looks like Chuck is finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, he’s shocked when Ira tells him that some of the lawsuits were dropped. He rushes to see Wendy, he knows that she did something to get Bobby to drop the suits.

Tonight’s episode ends with Bobby getting bad news. He receives a phone call and learns that Sandicott didn’t get the gaming license, the casino isn’t going there, and he just dropped millions of dollars on a property for nothing. Little does he know, Charles Sr. pulled some strings and destroyed the casino deal for him.

THE END!
