Brad Pitt doesn’t have the patience or the time to play any media or mind games with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Angelina Jolie. That’s why he’s denying recent reports that they are getting back together.
Many media outlets are reporting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are putting their divorce proceedings on hold. But that’s not the case at all. Sure, their divorce case might not be moving along very fast, but that doesn’t mean it’s being stalled altogether. It’s still in the works as Brad Pitt has no plans on ever getting back together again with the mother of his six children, Angelina Jolie.
For many fans, they can’t help but wonder what’s going on behind closed doors for Angelina. Some believe that the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reports began as a way to deflect from the horrible headlines Angelina has been making because of the controversy surrounding her latest movie, First They Killed My Father. Vanity Fair has refused to print a retraction or an apology after critics slammed Angelina for her film’s exploitative and insensitive casting strategy. The film’s casting directors allegedly placed money in front of disadvantaged children and asked them what they needed the money for before taking it away to elicit a reaction.
Plus, there’s no way that Brad wants to deal with the same mess and drama he’s dealt with in the past. He’s moving on with his life. And while Angelina might want the public to believe that they are getting back together, she hasn’t made his life any easier. She’s the one who still has full-time custody of their six children. If that weren’t enough, she also left him out in the cold by taking their kids to Africa on Father’s Day. She could have picked any other day to travel with her kids, but instead she did it on the one day out of the year that they were supposed to be with their father.
What’s more, Angelina is the one that is always seen in public with their six kids, not Brad. And for Brad Pitt, this hurts the most. He’s made it no secret that he misses his family but at the same time, he refuses to be manipulated by Angelina Jolie and her media games. That’s why he’s moving forward with the divorce, regardless of whether anyone likes it or not.
