Camilla Parker-Bowles is jealous of Meghan Markle’s royal treatment and quick acceptance by the royals family and the British public alike. That’s because the Hollywood actress is already being treated like she’s a member of the British royal family, even though she’s not even engaged to Prince Harry yet. Reports indicate that Camilla Parker-Bowles is none too pleased with the fact that Meghan Markle is being treated like a princess, so to speak.
Back in April it was reported that Meghan even gets to break royal protocol with special security clearance at Kensington Palace. She’s already been given VIP status inside the palace even though she’s not an official member of the royal family.
For Camilla though, it’s a different story. Queen Elizabeth reportedly made her life hell when she and Prince Charles announced their relationship. For the longest time Camilla was blamed for Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s divorce and has been called the ‘other woman’ in their marriage. She’s been married to Prince Charles for more than a decade now yet there are some critics out there who can’t accept her no matter what she does or what she says.
Camilla Parker-Bowles is tired of constantly having to prove her worth in public. She’s not and never will be Princess Diana. That’s why she’s doing everything she can to soften her public image and look like a more approachable royal. What boils her blood the most is that she’s working so hard to appear more likeable, yet someone like Meghan Markle appears and is already being treated better than she is.
Right now Prince Harry has made no indication that he plans on proposing to Meghan Markle anytime soon. Instead, Harry and Meghan are taking their time getting used to being in the spotlight as a couple. Yet, many royal fans know that Harry is going to propose to Meghan sooner or later. He already treats her like his fiancé and is doing everything that he can to spend time with her.
At the same time, it’s no wonder that Camilla Parker-Bowles isn’t happy with the special treatment that Meghan is getting. She’s only Harry’s girlfriend, yet the staff at Kensington Palace is running in circles trying to please her. To make things worse, Camilla doesn’t like it that Meghan isn’t even British.
