Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Robert Scott Wilson will reprise his role as Ben on the NBC soap. Whenever Ben’s around, you know there’s going to be trouble! Days fans always look forward to Wilson’s scenes as this crazy character, but at least a few of them should look familiar – well, sort of.
DOOL reshot Will’s murder scenes since Guy Wilson was playing the part at the time. Since Chandler Massey is stepping back into the role, Days wanted to let him do his own version. Of course, that means we’ll also be seeing Will’s murderer.
In newly created flashbacks, Ben will strangle Will just like he did before. There’ll simply be a new neck between those grisly hands. However, Days of Our Lives buzz suggests that Wilson could actually be around for 11 episodes. If that’s the case, perhaps Ben will be involved in more than just flashbacks.
At the end of Monday’s episode, DOOL viewers saw a hand swipe some keys at the sanitarium. Everyone’s curious about who that hand belongs to, but there are two obvious options. One is Will, which would mean he’s been trapped at Bayview for a while. If Will received electroshock therapy, maybe he lost some memories of what happened and hasn’t been able to contact anyone.
However, we have to consider another interesting possibility. Ben was sent to a mental institution after Abigail (Marci Miller) set him on fire, so the hand could belong to him instead. It doesn’t make sense for Ben to be somewhere that’s not very secure, but soaps don’t always have to be logical. They just have to tell a good story.
If the mystery hand is Ben’s, he might be the unexpected guest that interrupts the double wedding. Then again, Will would work for that as well. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that both couples will be affected by this surprising arrival. That means either Ben or Will would fit the bill, but choosing Ben would drag the story out a bit longer.
Chad (Billy Flynn), Abigail, Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Paul (Christopher Sean) will all be thrown for a loop by what this person says. That goes for the crowd, too. This is going to be a big Days event! The guest will mention something that sends several characters on a journey to Memphis.
