Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jen Lilley could return to the NBC soap opera as soon as January 2018. Jen’s friend and on-screen love interest, Eric Martsolf, who plays Brady Black, begged her to return to Days. Lilley replied on social media, and the viewers can’t help but feel excited about the possibility of her return.
During a recent interview, Eric was asked about the possibility of Theresa Donovan being recast. Martsolf replied that he understands that sometimes soaps need to recast roles but, in his opinion, the only person that can play Teresa is Jen Lilley. The actor then begged Jen to return to Days of Our Lives, stating the writers could write her in easily.
Once Jen heard Martsolf’s plea for her return, she took to Twitter to respond. Lilley replied and retweeted Eric interview with the caption, “When the love of your TV life pleads for your return to the show. Oh, Eric Martsolf, I would love to come back for you!”
Days of Our Lives fans are aware that Theresa was forced to leave Salem when someone from her past, Mateo (Andoni Gracia) an ex-boyfriend, threatened to hurt Brady and her son, Tate. So, she decided to leave Salem to protect them from her shady drug lord ex-boyfriend. It’s obvious that the Days fans would love to see her come back and with Nicole (Adrianne Zucker) leaving the show it seems like the perfect timing for her to come back.
Currently, Nicole is getting close to cheating on Brady with Eric (Greg Vaughan). When Nicole’s exit storyline plays out, Brady will be heartbroken once again. Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that with Ron Carlivati as head writer, he could want to bring Jen Lilley back for a rating boast.
Carlivati loves to give the dramatic actors air time. Even more, he tends to focus on actors that have a huge fan base. So, bringing Jen back could be on his mind. And, let’s face it – it would bring tons of drama.
