Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that wedding preparations will continue on the NBC soap. Chad (Billy Miller) and Abigail (Marci Miller) will be on cloud nine, but things should get a bit complicated for Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Paul (Christopher Sean). Problems are looming for the happy couple.
Most of their friends and family members will offer support. Paul and Sonny have a lengthy history together. They finally found their way back to each other and now they have a shot at bliss. Sonny was a mess when Will (Chandler Massey) died, but he feels like the darkness has lifted. He grieved and is ready to move on.
Unfortunately, Paul and Sonny’s news will lead to issues for Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). He’s already a wreck right now thanks to Bonnie (Judi Evans). The fact that Sonny is moving on will be difficult to handle. Lucas will argue that his son is being forgotten. Sonny will promise that’s not the case, but Lucas will still lose control of his emotions.
Nevertheless, Sonny won’t know what he can do about that. He’ll just focus on his own heart and how he believes Will would feel. There’s a good chance we’ll see some scenes where Sonny talks to Will at his grave. It’d be a missed opportunity if Days didn’t go for that angle. We need to see Sonny telling Will about the joy he’s found. He could essentially ask for Will’s blessing and assume he’s getting it.
Of course, Sonny has no idea that Will is actually alive. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Will’s first day back should be on or at least around September 15. Chandler Massey wasn’t 100-percent positive, but he gave it the seal of approval on Twitter. That’s a Friday, so it’d be a great DOOL cliffhanger.
Maybe we’ll get a brief shot of Will in captivity. The show will probably drag out the drama for maximum effect. Later, Will’s return to Salem will bring a real shocker. Days spoilers say a surprising guest will derail the wedding. It sounds like Sonny will have to rethink everything when Will reappears. He’ll definitely be torn about his future.
