Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a Ciara recast may be in the works. Vivian Jovanni will exit the role on May 26 and it looks like she’ll be off canvas for a while. After Wyatt (Scott Shilstone) and Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) plot is revealed, Ciara will get fed up with all the drama in Salem. She’ll leave town for a fresh start elsewhere.
Of course, many DOOL characters make their way back home eventually. Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Ciara may return with a new face. Several audition tapes have surfaced on Vimeo that point to a Ciara recast. The one featured here is with Brianna Chomer.
A character named “Mia” is featured in these clips, but that’s probably just a code name for Ciara. They usually try to disguise who they’re searching for, especially when the current actor or actress is still airing. We’d bet the Kiriakis and DiMera fortunes combined that this is indeed Ciara.
The dialogue is a big giveaway here. Days of Our Lives fans know that Ciara’s father, Bo (Peter Reckell), died from a brain tumor. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) was devastated, but it wasn’t her first experience with loss. Bo and Hope also lost their son, Zack, in an accident when he was just a boy.
The Mia auditions don’t include any names, but they mention that this character lost a father and a young brother. The most important tipoff might be the motorcycle. “Mia” notes that she likes riding her dad’s bike because it makes her feel close to him. She adds that her father was extremely adventurous and she wants to follow in his footsteps.
That certainly sounds like our hero, Bo. He had a lot of fun times on that motorcycle. Bo even cruised in and stole Hope away from a wedding on it. All of the facts line up. Ciara will likely come home and play the part of Salem’s rebel.
It appears Days is choosing to make this character a little spunkier. That’s definitely a good thing. Ciara needs to be bold like her parents were when they were younger. Maybe the show can spice up the teen scene a bit.
