Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that more trouble is brewing for Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Paul (Christopher Sean). Ever since Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) derailed their wedding, things have been pretty tense. Paul was convinced that Will (Chandler Massey) couldn’t possibly be alive. He felt like Sonny was clinging to false hope.
As someone who’s returned from the dead himself, John (Drake Hogestyn) believes Paul is actually afraid. If Will walks back into Sonny’s life, Paul could lose his love forever. Nevertheless, Paul will try to stay strong and support Sonny’s efforts. He’ll soon realize that’s tougher than it sounds.
Next week, DOOL spoilers say Paul and Sonny will have an explosive fight. You can bet they’ll both make statements they regret. As the evidence mounts in Will’s favor, Sonny will undoubtedly be obsessed with finding him. That obsession should drive Paul to his breaking point.
Paul may urge Sonny not to expect too much. They’ll get confirmation that Will’s not in that grave, but that won’t tell them everything. Paul might suggest that they have no way of knowing where Will is now. He may even contend that Will could’ve died while being held hostage.
Days spoilers hint that Sonny will refuse to be anything but optimistic. He may argue that this is about more than finding the man he once loved. There are other people to consider here. For starters, Sonny has to think of Arianna (Harper and Sydnee Udell).
If there’s even the slightest chance that Will could still be out there, they need to explore all options. Will should be in his daughter’s life. Of course, Will’s return would also affect his grieving family members. His loved ones just haven’t been the same since his death.
Sonny may think Paul selfishly wants to keep the competition away. That’s true on some level, but Paul might have some genuine concerns as well. Days of Our Lives fans know Paul is a good guy, but Sonny admitted he’d be with Will if he were still around. That fact is probably making Paul lose his mind right now.
After their fierce confrontation, Days spoilers say Paul will insist on sleeping separately. He’ll walk away for now, but they’ll make peace sooner or later. Paul will eventually come to grips with how important Will is to Sonny. They have to settle this once and for all.
