Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of August 7 through August 11 tease that major suspicions will emerge. John (Drake Hogestyn) will be grateful when Marlena (Deidre Hall) finally shows up, but he’ll still have some concerns. He’s been looking everywhere for her, but it was like she dropped off the face of the earth. DOOL fans know that’s because Hattie has been busy taking over Marlena’s life.
John will grill “Marlena” about where she’s been, but she’ll sidestep his questions. Days spoilers say John will think her behavior is a little odd, but he’ll push past it at first. He’ll just be happy that they’re together again. Unfortunately, Hattie will drop a bomb on John. She’ll insist that she’s not coming home with him.
John won’t understand what “Marlena” is trying to tell him, so she’ll make it crystal clear. Hattie will announce that she’s breaking up with John and that’s that. She’ll want to put the relationship behind them and move on. When Hattie gives her reasons, John will wonder what’s up. He’ll suggest that this just isn’t “Doc.”
Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives spoilers say the real Marlena will run into some trouble at the sanitarium. She’ll explain that she’s Dr. Evans and she’s been kidnapped. Marlena will beg anyone to believe that Hattie took her place, but they’ll just think she’s even crazier.
Hattie hopes no one will ever find out about her twisted scheme with Anjelica (Morgan Fairchild) and Bonnie (Judi Evans). Days spoilers state that Marlena will begin to feel hopeless as she sits in a padded room. She’ll worry that Hattie is going to get away with her dirty tricks.
Nevertheless, Marlena will do her best to hang in there. She’ll realize she has to keep fighting for John and the rest of her family. Marlena has no way of knowing what Hattie is up to in Salem. She’ll fear that Hattie’s sinister plot could wreak havoc on everyone she loves.
John will definitely struggle with sorrow over the breakup. However, you can bet that John will do some investigating. He can’t let “Marlena” walk out of his life without a decent explanation. Roman (Josh Taylor) will eventually get caught in this mess as well. Hattie intends on making Roman her man, but that plan may hit a big snag.
