General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) is not done stirring up trouble in Port Charles yet. Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Anna Devane (also Finola Hughes) made a major misstep when they handed Alex over to WSB agents on Monday’s GH episode, May 22. Although Nathan swore he vetted them and they were legitimate, there was something important Nathan didn’t know.
Yes, General Hospital spoilers reveal those two agents were WSB, but what he and Anna didn’t realize is that they are also double agents working for the DVX cartel and Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Anna should have been on her guard about handing her wicked twin over to the WSB since she already had a warning sign that there are corrupt forces within the spy agency. In fact, the WSB hasn’t had clean hands in quite a while.
Before Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) returned to take back control of the WSB, Victor Cassadine (Thaao Penghlis) ran the spy organization and allowed it to be overrun with Cassadine influence. Robert has been trying to get it cleaned up, but it looks like he hasn’t run out all the bad guys because Faison has had double agents at the WSB from way back when Anna was in training and until now.
Remember when Anna was trying to view Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) service records? She was looking at his assignments and then the computer file disappeared from her screen. When Anna called in, she was denied access and still doesn’t know why. That file was deleted by DVX sleeper agents that didn’t want Anna bothering Valentin because they were watching him already.
Once Valentin popped his head up in Port Charles, the DVX has wanted to get info from him on the Chimera Project but Anna was an obstacle. When Anna came to England, Faison activated Alex and she drugged Anna into a medically induced coma and took her place. The DVX was finally about to get what it wanted when Anna escaped the clinic in London – and now she’s trouble again.
When the WSB sent agents to retrieve Alex, didn’t anyone stop to ask why the WSB even knew Alex was in town and had agents on hand? The timing is suspicious. General Hospital spoilers claim Alex was sent by the DVX and Faison sent double agents on the WSB payroll to help Alex. Now she’s back in the game. Valentin still doesn’t believe this story of Anna’s about an evil twin and why would he? However, soon it will become obvious.
Alex has to go with the two agents to the ball to get hold of answers about the Chimera but they have no idea the Chimera toxin will be there in the room with them. These two fake WSB agents are the men that Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Valentin brawl with at the Nurses Ball. All of this comes to a head and Valentin will finally see both Anna and Alex and know the truth.
How will Valentin react when he realizes the woman he fell in love with so long ago was not the one that betrayed him? Valentin will have to forgive Anna and that will enrage Nina Clay Cassadine (Michelle Stafford). This will be a new start for Valentin and Anna but could wreck Valentin’s life again.
