General Hospital (GH) spoilers from Instagram reveal Andrea Savo, the actress that plays Daphne, is back on the General Hospital set and shooting scenes for the Cassadine Island adventure, likely for May sweeps. Savo shared a pic of herself in the GH makeup room in an outfit that almost makes her look like a nurse.
You can see the pic below of her with her hair pulled back and a white blouse and skirt. Is this just a monochromatic fashion choice or is Daphne going to be nursing someone back to health? Could it be a recast Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Tyler Christopher) that’s alive and convalescing in Greece?
All the General Hospital spoilers have indicated that Jason Morgan (Billy Miller), Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco (Roger Howarth) will all three be on Cassadine Island and the good news is this time they shouldn’t encounter any resistance. Jason got permission from the owner to visit.
When Jason stopped by Wyndemere to query Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) on the scarecrow issue, Valentin knew where the scarecrow might be and also gave him permission to search the island. It doesn’t seem like Valentin would let them go there unless his secrets are well hidden – or not on the Island.
We do know that Valentin assured Nina Clay Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) that he’s covered his tracks so that means if there is anything on Cassadine Island that ties back to Valentin’s crimes, he may have it buried deeply. General Hospital spoilers tell us there are many dangling threads on the island that need closure.
First, there is what went on with Jake Webber (Hudson West) there and it seems likely that Jake may know Daphne since she’s been living on the island for a while. There’s also the scarecrow and the big secret that Jake is keeping that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) told him not to tell.
Aside from the Jake issues, there’s the skeleton in the catacombs under the main mansion that was found with Luke’s jewelry on it even though we know Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) is alive and well. There is also still the lingering question of whether Daphne told the truth about Lulu’s embryo.
Many General Hospital fans question whether Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) is really Lulu’s and whether or not there was another viable embryo that was born that belongs to Lulu. And then there’s also the trinkets Helena left in her will that have not been explained.
Lulu’s empty envelope led her to Daphne’s address without explanation. That doesn’t align with Valentin having Charlotte all these years. Then there’s the penny Helena left to Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and the clues she left for Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) that were never fully explored.
This visit to Cassadine Island is long overdue. Let’s hope Andrea Savo’s reappearance means we’ll finally see all of the mysteries related to Helena’s will and Jake’s captivity resolved once and for all. What do you think?
