General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Ava Jerome (Maura West) makes a startling discovery at the clinic in Russia. On Thursday’s episode, September 14, she sees a man with a mask and big glasses covering his face, sitting heavily sedated in a wheelchair and she is warned to stay as far away from him as she can, but when she mentions “Port Charles”, his hands begin to move. Ava is told that he suffered from a gun shot wound and was left to die in the icy waters; this leads fans to believe it could be 3 different men.
GH’s sources have teased about Steve Burton’s return to the ABC soap opera for a while now, and with the story Ava heard, it sounds most plausible that it could be him. Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) shot Jason (then-Burton), and shoved his body into the icy waters of Port Charles; although it hasn’t be revealed whether Burton is returning as Jason, this could be how he is reintroduced to everyone in Port Charles; but is he really Jason or someone Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) programmed to think he was him?
General Hospital fans have mourned the loss of young Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), after he was blown off the cliff into the cold waters below, after he had stolen Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) car and was presumed killed in a mob hit gone wrong. So part of the story is true, that he was left to die in the cold waters, and he may have easily been hit by shrapnel from the explosion, making it look like he was shot. If the violent patient turns out to be Morgan, it could drastically change the course of many lives, including Ava’s!
General Hospital spoilers reveal it is entirely possible that the man sitting in the chair is actually the Cassadine Prince himself, Nikolas Cassadine (then-Nick Stabile); he also was shot by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), his deranged and elusive uncle. Valentin needed to have Nikolas dead, in order for him to claim his inheritance and Nikolas needed to disappear after his disastrous marriage to Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). It appeared that Valentin shot Nikolas and he fell into the waters below, never to be seen again; but is that what really happened?
Its possible Valentin and Nikolas planned this ahead of time and now that Ava was willing to hide the truth to serve her own purpose, Valentin could simply be playing a cruel joke on her and when she learns that Nikolas is alive, she may have serious repercussions for this most recent decision, especially if this is true because Valentin got what he needed and Nikolas now knows she is not loyal and will do anything that benefits her.
Who do you think the masked man is that Ava discovered in the clinic today? It could be any one of these men at this point, all have been shown to be violent on at least one occasion and when he clenched his fist at the words “Port Charles”, he could be very angry at people living there!
