General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason’s (Billy Miller) insecurities will grow much stronger. Ever since Patient Six (Steve Burton) showed up in town, Jason’s been belligerent and defensive. He constantly reminds everyone that he’s Jason Morgan and he’s going to prove it.
Meanwhile, Patient Six displays a quiet confidence. He even told Carly (Laura Wright) that he didn’t care about reclaiming his name. P6 suggested that Carly could just pick something else to call him. He’s simply happy to be home and surrounded by people who love him.
Perhaps Patient Six is calm because he’s completely certain of who he is. He believes he’s Jason Morgan with all his heart. Current Jason, on the other hand, is constantly looking for reassurance. Based on the reaction we’ve seen from him, there’s no way he’s totally confident in his identity.
General Hospital spoilers state that Sam (Kelly Monaco) will make an admission next week. Patient Six will make a passionate speech about his love for Sam and what they used to share. It looks like Sam will confess that she believes P6. Deep down, Sam’s probably known he was Jason from the moment they locked eyes again.
Of course, believing and making changes are two different things. Sam may buy Patient Six’s story, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be ready to kick current Jason to the curb. GH fans know she really does love her husband. Sam will still be left with an important choice about her future, so she’ll wrestle with that in the coming weeks.
Unfortunately, Jason will witness a close moment between Patient Six and Sam. That will only add to his insecurities. General Hospital spoilers say Jason will crave more reassurance, but Sam’s feelings will be obvious. He’ll realize that Sam’s now in the “Patient Six is Jason” camp. Will this tough blow be enough to snap Jason out of denial?
Jason has vowed to prove Patient Six is Drew, but maybe he just needs to focus on finding the truth. No matter how painful it may be, Jason should accept the possibility that he’s not the real Jason Morgan.
