General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew (Billy Miller) will try to get a grip and focus on his new identity. He understandably needs time to get over the shocking blow of not being the real Jason (Steve Burton). Drew will also run into some legal troubles because of that revelation, but everything should be cleared up sooner or later.
At that point, Drew’s curiosity should intensify. He had a completely different life that he can’t remember. Andre (Anthony Montgomery) claims that the effects of the memory mapping study are irreversible. However, that may not be the case. Whenever a soap character says something can’t be done, it’s often a clue that the impossible will eventually become possible.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Anna (Finola Hughes) could play a crucial role in what’s to come. Andre gave her a mini disco ball that could hold some answers inside. Perhaps he didn’t mention a hidden chip out of fear. Andre has spilled too much as it is. The mastermind could unleash his wrath if Andre leads anyone in his direction.
There’s even a chance that Andre was lying about the irreversibility or in fact doesn’t know but memory can be restored – after all this new soap science and therefore extremely fluid. Whether the path to remembering currently exists or not, Drew may recover his memories. There might be a new GH specialist who could examine Andre’s work and come up with a solution.
This could lead to a difficult decision for Drew. He’ll want to recall the life he had before, but the plan could come with major risks. It’s dangerous to start messing with Drew’s brain. What if a reset is the only way to recover what Drew’s lost? He might have to give up his memories of Sam (Kelly Monaco) and the rest of his family.
That certainly doesn’t sound like something Drew would be willing to do. Of course, things could change if Sam ultimately bails on him to reunite with Jason, an outcome for which Carly and many GH fans are clamoring. Nevertheless, there may be another option. Kim (Tamara Braun) knows all about Drew, so maybe she could jog his memory.
After all, Drew suggested that Kim looked familiar – General Hospital spoilers say this is a major harbinger of what is to come regarding Drew getting his real memories back.
