General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, July 21, tease that Carly (Laura Wright) and Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) will worry about Josslyn (Eden McCoy). After Carly updates Bobbie on Spencer’s (Nicholas Bechtel) kidnapping, they’ll probably discuss Josslyn’s guilt. She feels terrible that Spencer disappeared on her watch, but it’s not her fault.
Josslyn can’t be responsible for every single kid. There were other counselors, but Josslyn still thinks she let Spencer down. On the bright side, the tension seems to be lifting with Sonny (Maurice Bernard). When Josslyn walks in on Bobbie and Carly’s chat, she may hear her name. She’ll immediately ask if they were talking about her.
Josslyn won’t want her mom and grandma to gab behind her back. This could spark a little more conflict, but maybe things will calm down soon. In the meantime, Laura (Genie Francis) will be anything but calm! Her rage will erupt during an explosive confrontation with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina (Michelle Stafford).
General Hospital spoilers say Laura will be infuriated by Valentin’s actions. She’ll shout that he killed her son and now he’s going after her grandson. Nina will be taken aback by Laura’s outburst. It’s clear that Laura has had enough.
Nathan (Ryan Paevey) will also get a shock when he learns that Valentin’s bail has been posted. Of course, he should’ve expected it. Valentin is a man of many resources and he’ll do whatever he can to beat these charges. There’s a good chance he’s innocent anyway.
However, Valentin would’ve been safer in lockup. GH spoilers say Sonny (Maurice Bernard) will give the kidnapping news to Jason (Billy Miller). He’ll insist that Valentin needs to be stopped. Jason will wonder if Sonny is assigning him this task. He may hesitate to get involved because of Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) fears, but he can’t ditch Sonny when Spencer’s life is at stake.
Elsewhere, Sam will be on a mission to find Julian (William deVry). She’ll once again seek his help in handling Sonny. It appears Sam may end up finding Ava (Maura West) instead. She’ll vent about all the drama Sonny causes and the threat he poses to her family. Sam simply won’t tolerate the constant danger for Jason.
Ava won’t see what Sam can do about it. She’ll suggest that Sam will just have to make do with Sonny. A livid Sam will fire back with a firm “NO!” Poor Sam is really losing it. A fierce faceoff is coming up next week for Sam and her loathed enemy.
For now, Sonny will receive a text that could offer a clue to Spencer’s whereabouts. Unfortunately, it means Sonny will have to head straight into peril.
