General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) isn’t done with her work in Port Charles quite yet. Even though the old witch is rotting in her grave, she made terrifying plans for her vengeance to go on long after her death. Helena even foresaw the possibility that Jake Webber (Hudson West) might not follow her final orders.
Helena will not tolerate disobedience from anyone. When she had Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) as her pet assassin and he did one small thing that was out of line, she had him brutally beaten by Costa (Eddie Davenport). Helena punished Jason and reminded him where the lines were drawn so he would never cross her again. While Helena can’t have Jake beaten, she has other plans.
General Hospital spoilers leak that Costa will be lurking around Port Charles through June, carrying out Helena’s final orders and enacting cruel revenge on those that betrayed her – including Jason and little Jake. Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is worried that the ordeal with Jake isn’t done yet and she’s correct. It’s far from over. Costa plans to steal Jake away from Liz to punish Jason and Liz both for the Chimera failure.
Costa knows Helena would be furious to know the Chimera plan was thwarted and Port Charles survived. Costa was and is Helena’s loyal right hand man so he will do everything in his power to tear apart those responsible for the failure of her legacy revenge. Costa seems to be a bit of a sociopath, so the people of Port Charles better watch out. Jason wants closure, but General Hospital spoilers tease there’s more to come.
Jake knows Costa from his time on the island and will be scared to disobey the guy. Costa can just show up and tell Jake to come with him and the kid will follow. We saw how hard it was for Jake to throw off Helena’s programming at the Nurses Ball. The kid was full-on hallucinating the old witch even though she’s dead and gone. Helena still has a lot of control over Jake.
Remember, Helena had Jake for years. Supposedly, she was frozen for many of those years but since the General Hospital writers have rewritten all that history, now we are told that Helena had him from 2011, when he was just four, up until his return in 2015. That’s four long years Helena had to manipulate the kid and the age of four to eight are formative years, so that’s a lot of influence.
Jake will struggle to believe that his parents will save him from Costa and Helena’s power over him. It’s clear Liz and Jason’s son needs a lot more than therapy to save him. The last traces of Helena’s threat must be destroyed and that means Jason has to take down Costa and make sure he can never come back for their son. Costa needs to take a dirt nap – and Jason is the man for the job.
