General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam (Kelly Monaco) will have trouble accepting reality. Jason’s (Billy Miller) condition won’t be improving anytime soon and that means she’ll have to consider long-term care options. Sam will learn that GH can’t keep Jason around much longer. They need the space and he’d be better off recovering somewhere more comfortable anyway.
Sam will immediately volunteer to care for Jason at home. She’ll insist that she’s willing to be there for him during this crisis. Sam’s doctors will suggest that an institution would be an easier alternative. A facility like that will be equipped to deal with Jason’s specific needs.
Sam’s loved ones will agree with the medical staff. General Hospital spoilers say they’ll sense that Sam nearing her breaking point. They won’t want Sam to take on something that could drive her over the edge.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will offer her view on the situation, but she’ll support her daughter’s decision either way. Carly (Laura Wright), on the other hand, could be a bit more forceful. It looks like she’ll decide to give Sam some tough love.
Carly will note that Sam is in no condition to take care of Jason right now. She can barely take care of herself. It hasn’t been that long since Sam endured her own battle at GH. She’s still trying to regain some stability after her toxoplasmosis fight.
General Hospital spoilers say Sam and Carly will clash over this choice. However, it’ll ultimately be Sam’s call. She’ll be in agony as she contemplates the decision on September 18. After much deliberation, Sam will concede that the kids need to be her priority. She’ll agree to let the pros handle Jason’s care.
Nevertheless, Sam will be concerned about letting Jason go. She’ll feel like she’s giving up on him and that’s certainly not something she ever wanted to do. They’ve been through so much, so surrendering now will be crushing.
Jason wouldn’t blame Sam for sending him away, but GH fans might have a very different opinion. We don’t have to be as forgiving as Jason! There will undoubtedly be viewers on both sides of this debate.
