General Hospital (GH) spoilers for next week reveal Jake Webber (Hudson West) has some deep rooted psychological issues and they’re not all about Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). One big secret Jake is holding onto is about Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Jake spills the juicy news on new GH episodes very soon.
On Friday’s General Hospital (April 7), Jake showed up at Franco’s (Roger Howarth) art studio because he’s upset that Franco has stepped back from his life. Franco doesn’t want to be out of the way – he genuinely cares about Jake but respects Liz Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) request to let Jason calm down about them.
But on Monday’s new GH new episode (April 10), things spiral out of control. Jake shows up and wants to know why Franco is no longer his friend. That makes Franco feel bad but will the reformed serial killer throw Jason under the bus? Franco could truthfully say that Jason doesn’t want him around their home. Jake won’t like it.
General Hospital spoilers say Franco calls to let Jason and Liz know Jake showed up there and they come over to the studio and Jason is behaving at his worst. Jake came there – Franco didn’t invite him to come by. Franco couldn’t help that Jake showed up and Franco does the right thing by calling to let his parents know where the kid is.
This is not the first time Jake has run off and found Franco. Remember months back he stopped by to hang out with Franco and eat cereal at Franco’s apartment. Jake is attached to Franco and Jason can’t stand it and wants to sever their connection, but it’s likely he will damage Jake if he pushes too hard.
Jason explodes but then Jake shares something with Franco about Jason that stuns Franco and makes it impossible for him to stay out of Jake’s life. Jason gives Franco a warning that he needs to get lost or things will get physical between them but Franco isn’t one to back down and he won’t in this case.
Franco knows Jake’s mental health is at stake and is trying to help. So what’s the big secret Jake reveals? General Hospital spoilers are out that hint that Jake will tell Franco that he knows Jason isn’t really his father. Whether Jason is Jake’s biological dad is a fact only known by Liz up until now. Do GH fans remember that?
When Liz had a DNA paternity test run, she read the results and then burned the letter. It could be that Jason is Jake’s dad or not. Helena was known for tampering with paternity tests and it might have given her joy to kidnap the boy that was really a Spencer. Jake could be Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) kid and even Liz doesn’t know.
Nothing short of a brand new paternity test will prove what Jake’s been told. Jake might be Jason’s but Helena told Jake for years that he was Lucky’s son just to mess with the kid’s mind. It’s also likely that Helena told Jake what a violent killer Jason was – and that has to be hard on Jake. He’s got to be scared.
This revelation from Jake changes the dynamic between Jason, Liz and Franco for good and will convince Jake’s parents they need to get answers and that means a trip to Cassadine Island for May sweeps.
