General Hospital Spoilers: Jake Witnessed Stone Cold Kill for Helena – Liz Horrified by Murder Memories, Moves Franco In

General Hospital  spoilers for upcoming new GH episodes reveal Jake Webber (Hudson West) opens up to Franco (Roger Howarth) about his dad Jason Morgan’s (Billy Miller) terrifying time as Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) pet killer and scarecrow.

This reveal changes everything. Jason has been threatening Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) about her choice of boyfriends since he hates Franco but it turns out, Jason is more of a threat to Jake than the reformed serial killer. Jake is scared of his dad – not Franco.

Jason will be stunned when he finds out about Jake’s revelation to Franco. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Liz finds out from Franco and then tells Jason what their child said. Jason is stunned but then it triggers some of his lost memories and he recognizes that this is the truth.

What’s also interesting about this action is that while it contradicts the General Hospital timeline under former headwriter Ron Carlivati, it seems that new co-headwriters Shelly Altman and Jean Passanante have been planning this Jason and Jake story for a while.

Back in November 2015, Jason told Liz he didn’t think it was a coincidence that he and Jake were both taken and held by Helena. And then Jason asked Jake (then James Nigbor) if he remembered anything from the island and if Jake ever saw him there.

There were no answers back then and Liz, Jason and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) took a trip to Cassadine Island to confront Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) but that’s when the old bat supposedly died and did so before they could shake any answers out of her.

General Hospital spoilers say but now, Liz and Jason have some pieces of the puzzle and, more importantly, Liz has ammunition to use against Jason if he tries to push Franco out of her life again. This incident proves two things. One is that Franco is the person Jake trusts to open up to.

Second, it’s that Franco doesn’t represent a harmful factor in Jake’s life. Knowing this, and knowing that Jake wants Franco around, Liz is ready to move her boyfriend into the house with her and her kids. Jason can’t really do anything about it.

If Jason tries to take Liz to court, he’s got three obstacles. First is that he has no legal rights to Jake. General Hospital fans know that Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is Jake’s father of record so Jason can’t get anything done fast. He would have to establish paternity and be legally recognized by the court.

Second, Jason is a known hit man and now there are even more kills confirmed to him while Franco is reformed and was exonerated in a court of law. Third, Jason’s child is a witness to his violence and it’s doubtful any child psychologist would say Franco is a danger and Jason is not. Mind you, a hitman and serial killer – one has to wonder how Liz picks them!

Jason won’t like any of this but Liz will be done bowing to Jason’s threats and demands on her personal life so it’s game on for Friz and Jason will just have to deal with it.
