General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nathan (Ryan Paevey) will take a moment to catch up with Amy (Risa Dorken) this week. He’ll certainly have a lot to share. Nathan had no idea what he was getting himself into with this “Ask Man Landers” ruse. He wanted to help Amy care for her brother, but the situation is quickly spiraling out of control.
Nathan will undoubtedly fill Amy in on Mac (John J. York) and Felicia’s (Kristina Wagner) park shenanigans. Amy may laugh it off, but General Hospital spoilers say Nathan will insist that he’s growing increasingly uncomfortable. He definitely doesn’t like deceiving Maxie (Kirsten Storms) like this.
Nevertheless, Amy may contend that Nathan needs to keep his mouth shut and let it go. She might let him off the hook. Nathan has fulfilled his obligations and Amy is thankful that he came to her rescue. Unfortunately, they could have a real problem on their hands.
General Hospital spoilers state that Maxie will launch an investigation. After Felicia and Mac mentioned the advice column, Maxie became quite curious about Man Landers. She’s wondering what this mystery man is all about. Maxie decided to uncover the columnist’s identity, which means trouble is headed Nathan’s way.
General Hospital fans can expect Maxie to do some digging over the next few weeks. GH spoilers tell us she could stumble across some startling clues during her mission. Nathan will freak if Maxie mentions that she’s closing in on the face behind Man Landers. He might want to come clean, but is he in too deep? Nathan will worry that Maxie will feel betrayed since he waited so long.
This is something Nathan will wrestle with as the storyline moves forward. General Hospital spoilers indicate there’s a good chance Maxie will figure out the truth just as Nathan is about to confess. That’s usually how secrets play out on soaps. When someone finally decides to do the right thing, it’s often too late.
This whole “Ask Man Landers” scheme has been light-hearted fluff so far. However, it could easily take a much darker turn. It seems silly on the surface, but Nathan’s secret actually reveals a lot about the state of his marriage.
What’s driving Nathan to keep Maxie out of the loop? If he explained why he took on this project, she would likely understand. There could be something deeper going on here. The distance may have put up an emotional barrier.
