General Hospital (GH) spoilers tell us that Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) will debut early next week but we’ll soon find out that she’s been making evil plans for years and she personally came to Port Charles in time to see them all come to their awful conclusion.
It’s not clear yet whether or not Julian Jerome (William deVry) knows his sister is alive. We know he’s been working for her for a while and she communicates with him via his cell phone, but GH spoilers reveal that he’s never seen her face to face before.
What does the lady mob boss Olivia have planned?
Next week, Julian will finally lay eyes on her and will be stunned to see it’s the sister he thought he shot dead back in 1990 to silence her. Olivia is dead set on ruining Julian’s life since he tried to take hers. It’s taken her nearly 30 years, but it’s happening.
Olivia wants Julian to lose everything – including Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) and that’s why she made him threaten her life last year. GH spoilers hint we’ll soon find out Julian was following Olivia’s orders when he put a knife to Alexis’ throat so she’d dump him.
Olivia loved Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) and Julian messed that up for her, so she doesn’t want her brother to have any happiness. But Olivia has more in mind than just punishing her homicidal brother. She also wants revenge against GH itself.
We know that Olivia has been scheming to turn the Port Charles hospital into luxury condos, but is this about more than a profitable real estate deal? Olivia “died” at GH back in the day so she may want it shut down for that reason. We’ll find out more soon.
There’s also the mob in Olivia’s revenge plan and that’s why she pitted Julian and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) against each other. Olivia and Julian’s father, Victor Jerome (Jack Axelrod), wanted all mob power in Port Charles and died an untimely death.
If you weren’t watching back then, Victor choked to death on a pendant he bought for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) whom he was obsessed with. Olivia may want to fulfill her father’s goal to hold all the Port Charles crime activity in her powerful hands.
Remember also that Olivia was obsessed with Duke and so Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) might also be part of her cruel plans aside from taking over crime, wrecking the hospital, and ruining Julian’s life. Will she be obsessed with Griffin too?
Tonja Walker recently revealed that her run on GH is planned for a month or so. With just four weeks (give or take) in Port Charles, how much havoc can she wreak? Will GH showrunners extend her time if fans love her?
