General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Patient 6 is Steve Burton’s character! Patient 6, who is discovered by a rattled Ava Jerome (Maura West) in the clinic in Russia, appears to be everything and more than what Ava has already learned. She is told to never approach him as he is dangerous and psychotic, the mask he is wearing is a safety precaution. Currently, he is heavily sedated but enjoys being able to look out the windows – desiring freedom maybe? She is warned to never come close enough to be within reach.
When Ava asks what happened to him, she is told he was the victim of a terrible, violent crime. He is there in hopes he can be rehabilitated; she isn’t given too much more detail other than he is from a wealthy family, he was shot and fell into open water, the trauma caused a psychotic break.
It is believed that Patient 6 is beyond help but is it possible he was programmed to be Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) assassin and when he was tragically shot on the docks, he was whisked away, hoping he would fulfill his duties as a loyal soldier? Initially it might seem that he was an experiment gone wrong by the WSB but it becomes clear this isn’t the case when Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) promises Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) she will look into it; as a super spy she would know about the clinic if the agency used it, right?
General Hospital spoilers by CDL revealed there was evidence leaked that Patient 6 is Steve Burton’s character. Check the pic below by a GH insider on Twitter for more evidence that the masked man is Steve Burton. Can it be a coincidence that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) sent Ava Jerome to the same clinic to be treated for her burn scars. Fans of the ABC soap opera have to wonder, if Valentin wasn’t more involved with Helena Cassadine, then just being the bastard son of her beloved Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos).
GH spoilers remind viewers that Helena claimed Valentin to be the “worst of the worst” when it came to all Cassadines, but how is that she was willing to work with him when she purchased the Chimera Project from him? Maybe, Valentin learned about her secret “Patient 6” and stole him to do his own bidding; this seems more plausible since he is certain he has neutralized Ava Jerome.
If this is the case, Patient 6 was strategically placed to fool Ava who would recognize his face as that of the man who was Jason Morgan, the man married to her niece Sam (Kelly Monaco), from pictures, as Ava arrived in Port Charles after Jason’s supposed tragic death on the docks.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava will realize something is amiss as there is already a Jason living in Port Charles, married to Sam and they share another child together; will Ava attempt to rescue “Patient 6”, releasing the unknown and causing mayhem on Port Charles?
Ava has claimed to have changed after being humbled by the fire, but we all know her as the woman who will do just about anything to save her own skin; which way will she play this – she will either fight to reunite the man she believes to be the real Jason with his family or try to use him as a bargaining chip with Valentin.
