General Hospital (GH) spoilers for May sweeps reveal Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) and Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) will be back in Port Charles soon. The duo is often in town for the Nurses Ball and this year is no exception but there’s a shakeup coming.
General Hospital fans have noticed Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is not herself and that’s because All My Children’s Alex Devane (also Finola Hughes) is in town and either working with Anna or has replaced Anna. The details of the plot twist have not been revealed yet, but AMC’s Alex is definitely in Port Charles.
Viewers have seen “Anna” avoiding spending time with people she’s close to like Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) and Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery). She also got squirrely when Andre questions her about illegally monitoring Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). But she won’t be able to avoid family!
“Anna” doesn’t want Andre to notify the WSB since it’s not really Anna but Alex doing the Cassadine creeper work. The problem is, the Alex secret won’t go unnoticed by Anna’s daughter and granddaughter so the Drake ladies General Hospital Nurses Ball visit should be explosive.
If Anna and her doppelganger Alex knew Robin and Emma were coming, something could be prepared to keep them in the dark about the twin twist. But Robin and Emma like to surprise Anna and General Hospital spoilers hint that’s what they’ll do this time but they’ll be the ones getting the surprise.
General Hospital showrunner Frank Valentini tweeted a photo of him on the GH set with Kimberly McCullough and Brooklyn Rae Silzer with the caption, “Late night shenanigans with these two beauties.” Valentini hashtagged the post #GH #Wrappizza indicating Brooklyn and Kimberly were finished.
With General Hospital generally shooting four to six weeks ahead of air dates, this all aligns to a Nurses Ball appearance. Frank shared the tweet on April 20 which puts the air date towards the end of May which aligns perfectly to the big event this year on May 22 thru 24.
General Hospital spoilers for the 2017 Nurses Ball promise music, fun, surprises, and a bit of danger. It seems that Anna will find herself in danger thanks to her pursuit of Valentin and one of the surprises will be the reveal of the Anna and Alex twin twist to this storyline.

It seems that Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) might have been controlling them both and it all comes out in an explosive finale.
The Nurses Ball could set the stage for Alex’s presence in town to be revealed side by side with Anna and it’s Robin and Emma that figure out what’s going on. When Valentin, Andre and Griffin realize what happened, they’ll all be floored – none more than Valentin.
And imagine Nina Clay Cassadine’s (Michelle Stafford) shock that she was battling two Annas for her husband’s love.
