General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, May 18 reveal that Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) and Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) are in Port Charles for the Nurse’s Ball and already, Robin senses something is amiss. Could it be because she finds lookalike Aunt Alex Devane (Finola Hughes) tied to the staircase passed out where Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) left her?
Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) is still pushing hard to get Dr Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) fired and this time, he goes to Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) to try and get his way. Brad tells Laura maybe she knows better than her foolish friend Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). Laura doesn’t like Brad name-calling Tracy as Brad tells her that Finn is a threat to the hospital and patients. He just won’t stop.
Back at General Hospital, Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) tells Finn she’s not sure what to do and they discuss their options. Hayden asks the question on her mind – does she want to have a baby right now. Hayden decides that no matter what happens with their child, she needs to deal with the Brad problem. Hayden lays a trap to confirm that Brad is the one tampering with the drug tests to take him down.
Also at General Hospital, Nelle Hayes Benson (Chloe Lanier) feels all alone as she’s dealing with the pain of her bruised kidney and fear about her future. Nina Clay Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) stops by to see Nelle to apologize and says she never should have put her in the position of spying on Valentin. Since Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) refused the job at Crimson, perhaps Nina will hire Nelle so she can stick around.
Meanwhile, Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) is frustrated that Nelle refused to let him back into her room in the ER. He wants to make things better but can’t if she won’t let him come around. Michael corners Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and asks for a favor. Michael wants Kiki to talk to Nelle about relenting and letting him see her, but will Nelle listen to Kiki or remain stubborn?
Valentin heads over to Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) house to pick up Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) after her unscheduled sleep over and he’s not happy about something that happens. Valentin is already on edge over Nina leaving him and fake Anna toying with him. Valentin demands to know what game Lulu is playing with him. He’s already stressed that she called the social worker on him.
How much longer does fake Anna have before the forces against her come together? The real Anna is breaking out of the hospital in London to return to Port Charles, Robin and Emma are descending, Nina alerted Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) that Anna is acting outrageously, and Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) is also concerned.
