General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that we’ll soon learn more about Dr. Klein’s (Gene Farber) connection to Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). After Andre (Anthony Montgomery) refused to provide a hideout, Dr. Klein sent Valentin a text asking for help. It’s clear that Valentin is somehow involved in the Patient Six (Steve Burton) scheme.
Is Valentin the head honcho here or does he report to someone else? Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say he’s in deep and there’s going to be trouble. Of course, Andre is caught up in a study that went too far. He knew this experiment was shady, but he didn’t quite expect this level of chaos.
It’s intriguing that Dr. Klein is the only one reaching out to Valentin. Andre intends to make his own plans, so that could be a clue that these docs have different amounts of knowledge. Dr. Klein has been busy with Patient Six in Russia while Andre’s been handling his end of things in Port Charles. It makes sense that Dr. Klein would know more about this situation than Andre.
Dr. Klein wasn’t a liability in St. Petersburg. There was no chance of him spilling anything to PC residents until Valentin sent Ava (Maura West) to that clinic. That’s a GH story for a different day, but Valentin might’ve planned for Ava to become part of this mind control study as well. Some memory altering would’ve taken care of his problems.
Whatever the case, Andre insisted that Patient Six came home to the people he believes are his loved ones. Is that the truth or just a lie that Andre was fed? Maybe the idea of messing with some random twin would be easier for Andre to tolerate than kidnapping the real Jason Morgan.
Andre obviously has a softer side, which we can see through his guilt over Patient Six. Valentin might’ve worried that Andre couldn’t be trusted with the whole story. If Andre knew what really went down, he could’ve blabbed to Sam (Kelly Monaco) or Liz (Rebecca Herbst) in a moment of weakness.
Until Franco (Roger Howarth) started digging around, no one was looking for Jason’s (Billy Miller) brother. That was a much easier secret for Andre to keep. What if Andre’s missing a few facts? It’s possible that this was a two-part experiment. This study could be about switching the memories of twins.
If Billy Miller’s character is Drew, perhaps his part was completed when he showed up in town. Drew could’ve already become Jason, but the accident threw the plan off a bit. Steve Burton’s Jason might’ve been a tougher nut to crack. He undoubtedly fought to keep his memories. Andre assumes Patient Six believes he’s Jason because the experiment worked, but what if it’s because it failed?
That would explain why Dr. Klein asked Patient Six who Sonny (Maurice Benard) was to him. He called the phone number and seemed taken aback that P6 knew his old pal. Maybe that’s because Jason was supposed to have forgotten his PC life and turned into Drew.
General Hospital spoilers hint that some serious shockers are looming, so this twist could be one of them. The mastermind wanted to turn Drew into Jason (and Jason into Drew) and was largely successful with Billy Miller’s Jake Doe/Jason – but somehow Patient Six (the REAL Jason Morgan) was able to maintain his identity and memories! Now there are two Jasons – what a mess! We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
