General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Bernard) are beginning their long journey back to each other. Things haven’t really been on solid ground for this couple since Morgan (Bryan Craig) died. They tried their best to heal, but Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) plan caused more heartache. In the end, “CarSon” was truly broken.
However, the hostility has finally subsided and now they can move toward a reunion. General Hospital’s latest promo shows Carly and Sonny sharing a kiss. We all knew they couldn’t stay angry forever. Sonny and Carly just needed some time to work through their emotions.
Of course, they currently have something to bond over and that’s speeding this process along. They’re united in their despair about Morgan as well as their disgust for Ava (Maura West). Carly wouldn’t mind if Sonny killed the burn victim, but he doesn’t want to make any risky moves. He needs to keep his hands clean if he’s going to repair the damage to his family.
Besides, Sonny feels like letting Ava suffer is a fate worse than death. She’s in terrible pain and Kiki (Hayley Erin) hates her for what she’s done. Carly doesn’t believe this is justice, but Sonny will maintain that Ava will get what’s coming to her eventually.
Even Port Charles’ biggest sweetheart will think this is unfair. Michael (Chad Duell) will shout that doesn’t want Ava to suffer. He’ll contend that she should pay instead. Since Sonny is willing to play the waiting game, he won’t be too concerned. He can be patient when it comes to the final blow against Ava.
Sonny will soon wonder if he’ll even have to do anything. Ava’s still in critical condition and some scary moments are on the way. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ava will flatline as Kiki watches in horror. Kiki’s resentment will briefly disappear. She’ll gasp as she deals with the possibility of Ava dying.
Kiki just isn’t ready to let her mother go. She needs closure on all the Morgan drama and she won’t get that unless Ava survives. Nearly losing her mom could help Kiki cope with her anger. GH’s finest doctors will manage to revive Ava, but her recovery will bring some serious sorrow.
As for Sonny and Carly, they’ll probably be bummed that Ava pulled through. At least they can take comfort in their budding reunion. GH spoilers hint that “CarSon” will be back to normal in no time.
