General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Steve Burton (Jason) has a message for sparring fans. It’s clear that a fierce battle’s going on and it all stems from one question. Should Sam (Kelly Monaco) be with Jason or Drew (Billy Miller)? This has sparked a vicious debate and social media users are getting nasty!
Some viewers are definitely clamoring for a “JaSam” reunion. Others believe General Hospital should stick with the “Dream” team. Unfortunately, many GH fans are going a bit too far in their support of their preferred pairing.
It’s fine to promote your favorite duo or criticize the actions of fictional characters you don’t care for. There’s nothing wrong with calling it like you see it in the context of the storyline. However, attacking the actors is uncalled for and Burton wants everyone to knock it off!
Some people are twisting facts to fit their own agendas, but no one really knows what the work climate is on set. Several social media users have suggested that there’s bad blood between some of the key players, but Burton insists that’s not the case. He decided he should send out a tweet to set the record straight.
“Please stop,” Burton said. “There is no ill will with @kellymonaco1 or #BillyMiller. We are team of actors telling a story. We are a team delivering the story we are given. No hate. No fan wars.” It sounds like Burton’s getting a little fed up with all the unnecessary outrage. He just wants everyone to get along and enjoy what’s playing out on screen.
Laura Wright (Carly) has also received some Twitter hate, so she was quick to back Burton up. She quoted his tweet and added “truth” along with some love-themed emojis. Wright is good friends with Burton, so she naturally promotes Jason’s role in the story quite often. However, Wright has also praised Miller’s performance. Like Burton, Wright wants fans to come together over this gripping story.
Monaco has tweeted similar statements since this war started. She’s on the side of peace as well. General Hospital spoilers say Sam’s love triangle with Drew and Jason is about to heat up, but let’s hope the fan battle eventually dies down! We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
