General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, August 3, tease that Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) situation is about to get even worse. The demolition crew will arrive with orders to blow everything up in 20 minutes. Sonny tried to climb to safety, but it seems he couldn’t pull it off in his exhausted state. He’s obviously lost a lot of blood.
Sonny will be unconscious and out of sight before the countdown begins. He’ll be unable to call for help. Across town, Carly (Laura Wright) will continue to fret about Sonny’s fate. She’ll get some comfort from Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) as she deals with her fears.
Carly will just wish she had any kind of inkling about her husband’s location. She has no clue where Sonny might be, but Michael (Chad Duell) just got a big one. Nelle (Chloe Lanier) inspected Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) necklace and discovered that it was made from something shocking.
Michael will examine the bullet casing and demand some answers. He’ll urge Josslyn to tell him exactly where she found this. Joss will quickly fill Michael in on her trip to the construction site with Oscar (Garren Stitt). Michael may have a hunch that Garvey (Rick Ravenello) caught up with Sonny there.
Josslyn will feel terrible when she realizes she got that close to Sonny and walked away. General Hospital spoilers state that Nelle will console Josslyn with a hug and some kind words. Meanwhile, Garvey will run into more trouble at GH. A mysterious figure will enter Garvey’s room and shut the blinds.
Garvey could end up dead if this terrifying encounter goes south. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) will face an unexpected intrusion, too. Somebody will invade Valentin’s home, but he should be able to handle whatever’s thrown his way.
Valentin will also call someone about returning item that’s currently in his possession. Is this a way to suck Nina (Michelle Stafford) back in or could it involve another sneaky plan? Regardless, Valentin usually has an ulterior motive for any move he makes. General Hospital spoilers hint that Valentin could get devious soon.
At the penthouse, Julian (William deVry) will try to be Ava’s (Maura West) cheerleader. He’ll hope he can boost her mood and make her understand that better days are ahead. Back at GH, there’ll be high hopes for Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) recovery as well. It looks like Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will have a chance to visit her daughter.
Sam can’t remember much of what happened before her collapse. She’ll believe she’s missing an important piece of the puzzle, but it could be a while before her Sonny showdown memories emerge.
