General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that William deVry suffered a major loss when a death struck his family Sunday afternoon. Everyone knows that Will and his lady love Rebecca Staab are passionate about animal rescue and have opened their home to many fur babies. Will shared that one of his beloved doggies was killed Sunday that he’s loved for more than a decade.
Will shared the photo of his little four legged pal and wrote, “RIP. Smallest lil angel biggest part of my life 4 12 years. Hit by car 6 hours B4 i got home from East Coast. Having anxiety looking 4 me.” Will was in Atlanta over the weekend at GH Fantasy Weekend in Georgia but was on the way back home when his little baby got loose and ran into the road.
As a passionate animal lover, this death in his family devastated Will deVry. Fans have reached out with compassion and support as he grieves. Just a couple of years ago, Will and his partner Rebecca shared a photo of the two of them in front of their Christmas tree with their seven rescue dogs that they call the “bacon brigade.”
It’s clear that Will’s passion for animals is boundless so this loss of the dog he’s shared his life with for 12 years is terrible. After many fans reached out to the GH actor on Twitter, he replied back with “Thanks everyone” and “Thanks to all of you.” For someone who plays a tough mobster on the ABC soap, Will deVry is sure a softie at home with his animals.
The loss of a dog can be devastating particularly when you’re dealing with a rescue who had a tough life before Will and Rebecca saved him. Our thoughts go out to Will and Rebecca on their loss.
